Question 2: Do you recommend restarting game after mod update as well?

Flash: Thank you. The damage nerf on Dark along with the Quen nerf on enemies and the armor reduction upgraded helps with a lot of my concerns.

Might as well wait for the update to hit before moving on. I'm still in the Prologue though so it should be fine. :)

FLASH, i would love your honest opinion.

I loved the Witcher 2 but got sidetracked and never finished it the first time. This is back before there was an arena or tutorial in the game.

I am starting over on Dark Mode and would really appreciate your honest opinion on what would best prepare me for the Witcher 3 game-play.

So that mean Cat potion, White Raffard Decoction and Anabolic Stereoids have only 10 minutes? White Raffard Decoction had 0 minutes, so I would like to know if the bug is fixed.
And it is a bit dissapointment because cat potion is the one where longer duration was needed the most.

Longer cat? Why?

My experience with cat so far has been that it's longer than required, only had to use it twice in the mine clearing quest.

Flash is there anyway to just completely replace the roll to a Pirouette instead of in certain danger situations, or at least have it change when you in combat. Firstly because its fairly challenging to predict when Geralt will start using it. Second I have noticed no major changes in its functionality its more a cosmetic change if i'm correct.

I have this question as well. I restarted the game after installing the mod the first time. If I have to play through that prologue again I might kill someone. It would be the third time these last couple weeks haha.

I would play with the mod IMO. After playing the prologue with it, it was A LOT more fun than Vanilla. By far. I would wait until the update though.

Vanilla combat wasn't bad but this is way better. It doesn't detract from the experience at all for me story wise. Besides Phillipa's head missing... Once again, just wait for the update lol

VERY pleased.

This looks like just the thing. I'll have to try a more melee-centric approach post-patch. Eager to see parry fire reliably and pleased to see Igni and Aard nerfed.

Be nice to worry a bit less about potion upkeep, as well.

Nerfed, I am having more fun with Igni and Aard. Cone attack FTW.

I hate the riposte though, I am like spamming fast attacks and geralt auto parries monsters, and takes damage too. Damn Those NEKKERS.

Tw3 is a new game with new combat that is still in development and nowhere near being finished.
Devs already stated that the camera will change, signs will have different modes, attack animiations will differ and I am sure they will have tinkered with the upgrade tree (they mentioned mutagens working differently).
So a FCR for TW2 (just like FCR for TW1 did ) will not be any indication of the direction TW3 is taking imo.
This is a personal mod and not a "primer" for TW3. Try both vanilla and FCR(once the mod is finished) and decide for yourself.

And for avoiding having to restart/replay the prologue when a new mod version is being released: welcome to game testing. Just wait for the final release (which I doubt will happen anytime soon unless Flash thinks the next version is the definitive one)

I have the same missing head problem when I create NPCs in REDkit so I wonder if it's related... thanks for the mage friendly fire fix BTW ;)

Uh hey guys, for some reason now, Whenver adreline bar fills up, the fps turn down real low.
Like from 32 capped to 10fps.
It wasn't there earlier, when I had unlocked Group Finishers but now the game has low fps like hell.

Sometimes I spend in underground over half an hour. So it require 4 cat potions. Going 4 times in meditation during quest in mine is annoying in my opinion. Making the duration of Cat potion from 10 minutes to 30 or 60 minutes would be so much appreciated in my view. ;-)

Pointless. Just gather more ingredients and make more Cat potions or modify it yourself. 10 minutes is enough considering you only need it a couple of times throughout the course of the game. So I'd rather it stay as it is.

Wonder if there will be any problems when importing the save to Witcher 3... If in The Witcher 3 there will be skills and weapons or armor imported from The Witcher 2 will they be buggy becasue of this mod? Just something to think about.

That stuff won't import. Story decisions and perhaps equipment will.
