Fullscreen Alt tab into Borderless Fullscreen

Has anyone have encountered / found a fix to this bug? I'll like to play the game in fullscreen mode but sometimes I have to alt-tab from the game the check something or change audio, when I alt-tab back into the game it enters into borderless window. When I check my settings it still says fullscreen but I know it's borderless window because overlays that are on my desktop (Google hangouts bubble) appear and I get a frame drop from my usual 65-80 down to 45-60fps which kind of annoys me because when the frames shift I see stutter which hurts my eyes.

Has anyone found a fix or workaround / anyone encountered this issue? :listen:

Same problem here.
I play at a smaller resolution then my desktop resolution so I get a smaller window in the center of my screen. And then when I try to set it to the full resolution it still remains a small window, forcing me te restart the game.
This problem started like 2 days ago I think. Never had that problem before that.
