Dunno if this was intentional, but Alvin saying in Act 3 "I want candy!" just made me think of MC Pee Pants (Aqua Teen Hunger Force). :teeth:Speaking of Alvin, in Act 4 he kinda reminds me a bit of the Adoring Fan from Oblivion, the way he follows you around everywhere. By Azura!

The famous: "A sorceress gets betten by a snake and the snake poisons itself" is a nod to the great French comedian and black humorist Voltaire. Originally it was his joke.

There's one woman in the Trade district who knows Geralt's reputation and when he approaches, immediately takes him to task, asking, "Did you just think I was going to fall all over you?" and Geralt answering, "Yeah, something like that." I wish I could recover the exact dialog, it was hilarious. Though she acts haughty, she also looks and sounds like she's seriously considering it, and in the end decides not.Later there's a village woman in Murky Waters bending over a washtub, scrubbing. Speaking to her, she looks back over her shoulder and says, "I know what you're thinking when you look at me."

Has anyone else noticed that it seems like the entire cast of extras from the movie "The Pianist" worked on "The Hexer" ? :hmmm:

Ever hear the laughter of griggs late at night in the Temple Quarter? I wasn't sure until after I'd learned to recognize it, then one time passing through the Market Square to Shani's I heard it, loud, clear and unmistakeable.EDIT: Ah, damn...the Physiologus gives a beastiary entry on the 'witchman', which is a satirical description of Geralt and his habits.

Yup, I'd heard it several times, and hunted down the sound once before I knew what it was. And just now in the Trade Quarter I heard it from the direction of that Market Square; when I hunted it down I found a Salamandra and an ambush of kikimore. It's possible they're hiding everywhere. But I don't recall hearing them in the Outskirts ever; probably afraid the barghests can smell them.

I play again. My first night in Wizima, in Temple Quarter, i heard griggs laughing three times! :eek:First, at Little Mahakam, between Vivaldi's and Kalkstein's houses.Second, outside the blacksmith house (Little Mahakam again). And third, outside the Cloister of the Order of the Flaming Rose. The funny thing is, i always hear them, but i haven't noticed until now! Thank you, DokEnkephalin, for this information!

Please don't call me a pervert but there are two Courtesans in act III that appear not to wear any underware (panties). Check out the one at the back of the House of Night and the one next to the New Narakort Inn that runs in the rain .
