i liek the refrence to the German Liqueur Jägermeister. The hunter i met in the swamp in act 2 said he wanted to be the lord or maser of Jägermeister... or master hunter... i laughed a fair bit. Love the drink also for those who are old enough to drink it lol.

Did you noticed, when you eliminete the Salamndra in the city sewers and the boss drop the sword called Illegal sword, that sword looks like the bone sword from the movie ( Le Pacte des Loupus) Brotherhood of the woolf.

Yes. Eyck was Siegfried's father. You can learn that from Siegfried in the sewers :)

Not sure if in other versions, but in polish I`m quite sure peasants or citizens sometimes whistles few tones from the smurfs tune :)The other thing is, at party in new Naracort, chapter III, Thalar came with a knight that swore silence. What I did was wait for others to move away then I came up to that knight, pulled out wine (he won`t drink anything else), and after 5 bottles he began to speak! It was hilarious. He started off with "gooosh... ya got strongh... he..head". Must see ;) You quickly find out he is just an hired actor that Thalar needed for cover. One of the posters in Temple quaters says something like "We want you! To join the army" and below someone scribbled "Foltest is a dick!".Vesala - talking ghoul in Vizima cementary, you get to meet him again (if you didn`t kill him) in the prolouge. Funny guy. There were more and I`ll post was I remember :)

There's another one - "Hairy Bear" from "Hairy Bear Inn" literally translates to the german term "Haariger Bär" or without the umlaut, "Haariger Baer" which is an euphemism for the... um... bushy, unshaven pubic region of a woman.I think, the english equivalent is "Fur Pie". Don't know about the polish one though...

English equivalent would be Furry Beaver or Hairy Beaver. If you are into NA neologisms. there is a very recent one - Brazilian Sushi. Which means shaved pussy of Asian female. So if someone says "Dan is having Brazilian Sushi tonight, you know what it means LOL.

I really recommend reading books written by Sapkowski (best to start with "Last Wish").

Will depend on the translation. So far i haven't seen anything as good as original.

The translations in spanish are awesome. The guy that did them spent a lot of time researching and questioning sapkowski about his language innovations and brings about sort of equivalent things in the spanish version. They are so good that i was expecting to see them in the game (like some insults) and in fact they were there. I haven't read the english version myself but from what i've read from the translator what sapkowski means to modern polish i'd really like to learn that language...

It's worse than French. in fact all slavic languages are pretty hard to learn, and Polish is not the easiest of them. Words keep changing depending on the place in a sentence, that kind of thing. I can read, barely, thanks to granma.
