Vampires of the Masquerade would be cool, but I am actually interested in seeing how CDPR does with creating it's own unique IP.

Any WoD-based product is most likely out of the question. CCP Games (makers of EVE Online) merged with White Wolf Publishing some time age. CCP is working on the WoD MMO at the moment.

All depends of Witcher 3 ending. Will there be part 4? Also CDPR usually supports their product for around a year after release. So we might see both TW3 and CP2077 Enhanced Edition or perhaps GOTY edition

Will they release both games on all the consoles from day one? If console will have to wait for another year to see those games being ported, whole studio will be very busy for next few years. I dont expect any news about new game before 2015-2016+

But if I had to ask for one game.. I would say RPG in space, something similar to mass effect, saving the universe and mankind trilogy. I am positive their are plenty of great sci-fi book series waiting to be found!

I know this sounds like heresy, but i think The Witcher 3 should be the last Witcher game in which Geralt is the lead character. The ending of TW2 promised reunion and an end to his wandering. TW3 should be where he finds closure; drag it out into a fourth game and, well, it would be dragged out and unfair to him.

That is NOT to say it should be the last game in the Witcher universe. There are still enormously appealing characters, places, and situations left to dramatize. Make TW4 about Ithlinne's Prophecy, make Ciri the lead character, and you can take my preorder now.

As for other properties, consider setting a game in Roger Zelazny's Amber universe. Especially the Corwin books.

Just forget Tolkien, Lucas, or Martin. Tolkien's been done to death, you have to give up too much creative control to work with Lucas, and Martin is just shallow.

I would love for CDPR to create some type of Mad Max universe

Maybe I want a fourth Witcher game. Maybe I want TW3 to be the last, because playing as someone other than Geralt would feel weird in a Witcher game. I know I don't want the IP to be milked. As for Tolkein...yeah, we don't need a game based on his work, there's a million derivatives already our there.

Beyond CP 2077 and TW, I wouldn't mind seeing a space sim like Terran X, but with more RPG elements and planet exploration.

A series based on the harry dresdan novels would be pretty cool imo.

Something star wars related perhaps? A darker story in the star wars universe.

Maybe an adaptation of another PnP rpg, or something else entirely, like warhammer 40K or maybe even an original IP.

I know it might sound cliche but i think a zombie survival RPG made my CDPR would be legendary.

I agree with you mostly. I really don't want TW to wend with 3, but closing Geralt's story and continuing the next 'set' of games with Ciri especially or someone else would be the best. And Geralt can always make appearances.

Coming to the three you have mention, while the first two I agree with, Martin on the other hand doesn't know shit about video games, but that doesn't mean he isn't great. I see him with par with Tolkien and I wouldn't be exaggerating (one should really read if haven't already) Only a matter of time for getting stuff to the right people ;)

I agree. A character like Geralt needs to step down from the scene with class, even if that's going to make some people sad. That's how the world of the Witcher is though, you never have it all and you're left with a bittersweet taste.

It wont happen. People are finally starting to recognize Geralt and getting interested in Witcher series. I am pretty sure they will make at least one more after they done with CP2077. TW4 or some sort of prequel.
Dont think they can wrap up the whole northern kingdom war issue, yennifer story and wild hunt in one game, can they?

Sure, why not? Most of the hard work of establishing all these elements is behind them.

There hasn't been a SURVIVAL game in centuries. I don't think there's ever been a Survival RPG either.

Well not necessary they will make a trilogy, they can always 'end' this arc of Gertalt with TW4, leading a new way to another one for the next witcher game.
This just brings me to question how long will they continue to make witcher games, and I sure want that to be pretty dam long

There are plenty of survival games out there (2013 is looking especially good the the genre), they're just not major AAA releases. And if you want to stretch the definition of RPG, you may be able to count S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

A spiritual successor to Vampire: The Masquerae - Bloodlines. It just has to be made someday and while there are few companies that could pull it off, CDP RED may be one of them. The original game was a buggy mess on its release day and by the time it was fixed by official and non-official patches, it was too late to turn the game into a commercial success... but damn, all bugs aside, this was a truly awesome RPG with delicious atmosphere (I became hooked almost instantly and I knew nothing about this world), good storyline, interesting NPCs with top-notch voice overs, quests which could be resolved in various ways (and even the linear ones could be very memorable - the haunted house, anyone?) and some truly great ideas, such as unique Malkavian and Nosferatu gaming experience (perfect for your second and third playthrough). Some of the last quests in the main storyline involved too much unavoidable combat, though, but the game was rushed, so it's hardly surprising.

Despite the greatness of the original, I feel that so much more could be done with modern technology and a higher budget. Bigger levels with more buildings which you can enter and more NPCs you can interact with, much better graphics, Witcher-esque choices and consequences and non-linearity etc., without so many bugs as in V:MB... Damn, damn, a game inspired by V:MB could be so awesome.

Since RED ENGINE was made with RPG in mind it wont be anything else.. Perhaps new fantasy RPG.
