Am I missing something? Why is everyone thinking Ring Finger is the playable character?
i dont know. maybe it was because the developer said before the trailer to pay really close attention as to who it might be. and in my mind Ciri is too obvious a choice?

The playable character can only be Ciri, Yennifer, Lambert, King Of The Wild Hunt, or that random peasant. Stick to the facts people.

Yes and fact is the faceless person "Ring Finger" was also in the trailer. And in the thumbnail of the video no less. Damien said to pay very close attention... you don't have to pay very close attention to notice Ciri, Yennifer or any of the others. They are all immediately recognizable.
But how is he remotely important for the whole story or even personal story of Geralt?
