Game crash

Hi ,
ive played the game and just finished the battle against the hunt at kaer morhen, ive then chose to go stright to fight the badguy and the game stops responing, ive tryed it the other way where i visit her dad first that works but when it goes to load to fight the badguy again the game again stops responing, the load icon spins and the screen has the text on scrolling through but the load bar does not go up and task manager says the games not responing.

ive verified my game files ,. that did nothing
i use an i7, and a 3090 so not a spec issue.

Did you used mods in the previous version of the game ?
If yes, maybe a good idea to check (and remove/delete) the mods folder in the game directory.
