Game crashes to desktop during high usage of igni sign

System info: (please find attached)
Graphic Settings: based on Nvidia Geforce experience optimal settings. Mostly Ultra. I had changed setting of 'max frame rate' to unlimited.

I have managed to play the game for over 150 hours without issues.... until the very end. I recall issue starting when I got the complete grandmaster griffin set. In combat against several enemies at once, I cast a Yrden sign at my position and then keep firing Igni at enemies around.
1. I have managed to reproduce crash about 6-7 times during such a combat and it crashes after I have fired Igni sign few times and multiple enemies are burning at once.
2. Game has never crashed outside this scenario
3. I have tried verifying cache files. First time it said that a file had to be acquired. After that, it always succeeded.
4. When my game crashes to desktop and i can see my steam library page, I always notice Witcher 3 downloading some kind of 'update' i guess. The download lasts about a minute. May be its just trying to sync some files from cloud after crash.

5. I have NOT managed to reproduce the issue after limiting frame rate to 60. if I can get game to crash again, will update here.

6. Crash files attached as well (as text files).

7. All crashes so far have happened in Toussaint . I haven't tried any other place though and didn't have grandmaster set before it :p

Kindly help investigate.

Regards,
PhaLanX

I can't download the files, atm. At work. Can you answer the following for now:

1.) Are you using any mods, or have you ever used any in the past?

2.) Can you try restarting Steam in Offline Mode, then seeing if that lets you play through the scenario?

3.) Can you explain how you originally installed the game? Did you purchase TW3 base game, then download individual DLCs / purchase base game then upgrade with the Season Pass / buy the GOTY edition and get everything up front / etc.? (It might be an exclusive issue if you, for example, downloaded the Free DLCs separately, then later installed the Season Pass over it.)

4.) It certainly sounds as if Steam is trying to do something, which makes me think there is a problem somewhere in the installation. Hopefully something will leap off the page at me when I can look at the logs.

Looking at a couple of the logs, can you ensure that you install / repair all of your Microsoft Redistributables:

DirectX 11 / 12
DirectX 9.0c
Visual Studio 2010 - present
(installing both the x86 and x64 versions of each release)
Visual C++ 2010 - present (x86 and x64 of each)
XNA Framework
.NET Framework

If that's not it, my guess would be mods followed by GPU drivers.

No Title

1. I bought the game on steam as Game of the Year edition package. Hence, all mods were installed along with the base game. I did not add any new mods afterwards. Nor did I uninstall a mod.

2. I have repaired some of the Microsoft Redistributables and can be seen from the updated install date in pic attached. I could not repair visual c++ 2010 version as I only got option to uninstall for some reason. I have repaired visual studio 2017 as well although install date doesn't change in the pic.

3. For directx, not sure how to repair it. I ran dxdiag command and it showed no errors.

4. I have removed the FPS cap setting within game to have same configuration as during the crash.

I will try to reproduce crash. If i succeed, will update post and try offline mode of steam next.

5. Regarding the graphics drivers, I update them every month. The crash has been reproduced on latest two Nvidia drivers at least.

6. Considering the crash only happens in specific battle scenes, it doesn't seem intuitive to me that steam has anything to do with it

A few days ago I changed to that Igni build
and I get crashes too. Everytime I'm fighting a lot of enemies and lighting a lot of them up, my game crashes. It depends not of high or low details, I've tested both.

For me the eruption skill on my armor is the problem which is causing the crashes. If I use the build without that skill, everything is fine.
