Game freezes when using UI

The moment I click on the map anywhere in the game, whether it's the backpack, crafting, or anything else, the game freezes—and not only does it freeze, but it also locks up the system. Please help

Did you check the usages (CPU/GPU/RAM) when tha game freeze? To see if there is something which suddenly hits 100% usage when opening the map.

If you already played the game > Do you use or ever used mods?

I’ve been playing the game normally and there hadn’t been any issues since I got it, but suddenly I started getting this error. My system is up to date and meets the requirements, and there are no mods. I started the game exactly as I purchased it, with no additions.

Ok, so check everything suggested by the support here and if nothing work, I recommend to directly send a ticket to the support for help ("contact us" button)

Yeah that usually points to a driver or GPU issue, not just the game itself. Try updating or rolling back your drivers, UI freezes like that are pretty common after patches.
