I think KingofPol got so much crap because his name is KingOfPol. He also gets worked up really quickly in the streams I've listened to and apparently he brought up unverified info into streams and made an ass out of himself and GG multiple times. I think those are why people got so angry with him.
From what I read someone went on 8chan and made up being a Gawker employee and people asked him questions. His entire plan was to see who took the bait and made an ass out of themselves. KingOfPol took this information and ran with it despite the guy later saying he was just pretending and wasn't really an employee at Gawker. That's what I can gather anyway, take it with a grain of salt

Actually I partly agree with him here: There are terrible things, that become normal to us, so that we don't take action and ignore them. Beggars for many is one of them, corrupt politicians or even some discrimination. But I disagree that rape or death threats or stalking are normal (well stalking for the tabloid media is). This is the disguised claim of rape culture again, isn't it? Oh I hate that term... Funny that the only people supporting rape culture are the SJW claiming it is white heterosexual mens fault.
Well first interview I saw was the one with Pakman and I switched it off after a few minutes, cause it was just incoherent rambling and he had no point to make. I didn't even understand at first on which side he was standing, cause he made so little sense.
Basically what occurred was that I was invited to a GG skype group, there was no conspiracy or anything like but there are people who are actively trying to influence GG that are part of it.
Several weeks ago some in the group decided to destroy OperationVoxPopuli started by Rogue and a friend of mine, Luc, tried to force into backing that, I bluntly and openly told him to fuck off in private chat on Skype. He showed it to the group admin and got me removed from the Group.
Pol decided to support Rogue and he was attacked over that.

@slimgrin on Thunderf00t, it's not that surprising, really. Especially when you look at those examples from Stephen Colbert's show and realize that they mostly poke fun at the extreme right. Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann. Not that I'm complaining, lol. At least not on people like these two.
Anyway, that obviously isn't always the case, but it's not surprising when you consider that. What he should have compared was the intellectual individuals they bring to that show, not the fact that they'll absolutely trash some and not others. It was already rather clear that they picked favorites here and on the Daily Show in relation to partisan ties long before Anita. I think people are just finally starting to see that. Or they're just finally starting to care, since it's just a comedy show about politics, and this obviously took it out of that bounds for a bit.

All I could think of in that long stream of bitching from KingofPol was how spot on those impressions in that love story you posted a good bit earlier were, lol. I do agree though on what he says here of course. Tone police of all levels are really really annoying busy bodies.
