Game keeps freezing after 5-10 mins

Hi. I have a Gtx 770
i7 3.60GHz
8 gig ram windows 8.1 64bit

Ever since I bought the witcher 3, a few days ago, I have had the worst time ever and starting to lose my brains. Every 5-10 minutes, the game will freeze but the background sound will continue until I alt-tab and then the game shuts down. I've tried everything that people have suggested to no success.
Please could someone help me? Or just end my misery and shoot me..... LoL:wat:

As far as we know it's a common issue for 700 series. And there is no solution that can help everybody. There is still hope CDPR can fix it asap because one week of waiting is too much.

It's not only common to Nvidia cards, same thing happens with me and most likely many others with different setups. I have to do a hard reset on my computer.
