Game not letting me select ray tracing , anyone know a fix

Hi game wont let me run ray tracing even though card can . I do in other games . Ive seen people with other cards have issues . any ideas or manual fixs like typing something into a settings file . it should allow me to click it . running i7 7770 ,nvidia gtx 1070 overclocked and 32gb of ram . im 100% card allows it . ive done everything from updating drivers, reinstalling game ,reinstalling windows spent hours trying to get ray tracing working and it wont .
Please help

It won't work with a GTX 1070. You need a Nvidia RTX card to enable ray tracing.

I have the same issue but I have a 3080 and newest drivers. Ray tracing is greyed out. It NVIDIA control panel it shows RT on but in game it's not possible to enable.

While some GTX cards can ray trace it doesn't mean they should, hardware isn't designed for it. RT destroys performance on RTX cards already and I'd imagine on a GTX 1070 it would do more than just destroy performance. You'd probably get a whopping 2 fps especially since RT in Cyberpunk is being hard carried by DLSS at the moment which isn't a feature supported on GTX cards.
