Game Play in the tutorial very jerky

I have, much to the chagrin of iTunes, cleaned off my hard drive opening over 250 gig of space. I have the latest NVidia graphics card, and the drivers are up to date. I load the game, get to the tutorial, and the next thing I know the game takes a long time to recognize my commands or it is jerky. Sound with the the speaking parts is very delayed, and when I try to throw the daggers in the arena or perry a move, the is a massive delay in responding.

Any suggestions. I am currently downloading the patch.

The tutorial isn't as well made as the game. Chances are you'll be fine when you actually start - my PC can only run the game on the lowest settings and the tutorial chugged away, but the game itself runs smoothly.
