The game don´t accept a new registration with the same CD key.However it can´t be upgraded without game registration.
Ok, so I'm completly clueless. I bought the first release of the game (actually preordered it before it was released 3 years ago). Played it, finished it, it was fun. About a year ago I reinstalled it, registered online and installed Enhanced Edition. It was running pretty fine. Now I (once again) wanted to play the game for a bit, installed the game from the original DVD, went on to install EE (only a digital download, if that changes anything) and that's where the actual problem starts - during the verification process, it says that I don't have a registered copy on my account. When I try to register it with my CD-key, it says that it has already been used and I can't register the game with it (I don't know how exactly does the message look like in english - I'm polish and using a polish version). I've even searched through my e-mails and I still have got the one confirming that I have indeed registered the game on the same account with same e-mail address and with the exact same CD-key... What can I do to be able to *convince* the installer that I have registered the game and can use the EE? I could play without it, but without EE the game runs much less smooth on my old PC...
I managed to get around the registration process by downloading the patch directly from CD Projekt site - TWEE version you can find there simply doesn't require it. Thanks for the advices though. I think that it could possibly help some other people with similar problems as mine. The file you can download is a .rar archive containing patch, polish language pack and the bonus adventures, so maybe if one swapped the polish language pack for other language pack of his preference, it could work as well. I can´t registrate again because Atari DIDN´T SEND an email with the confirmation of new username and password.So what can I do?
I`m assuming you successfully registered the game on the Witcher website sometime in the past Correct ? If so try going to your profile and update it especially if you have changed email addresses since you registered it the 1st time as it may link your email when registering to your CD keydanielsupernova said:

When you sign in to the forum you will see your name in the bottom toward the left of screen just click on your name and you will be taken to where you can see your profile info and be able to make any changes just be sure and click ths change profile when finishedKelor said:

I recently moved from Neveda to Texas, would changing my time zone, affect it somehow? like if it doesn match the old timezone on my profile when i reg'ed the first time?
fixed time zone(texas should be -8) on profile, don't know how i could do anything more about the cookies, still getting error. . . there has to be a better way to do all this.. . . please tell me theres a way to get a game i spent money on to work the way it's surposed to. . . I've never heard of a game where ever single last person who ever tried it has one problem or another just trying to play the damn thing.
. . . would the version of IE i'm using matter, the different versions have different cookies settings.
