nothing from my saves cant be loaded.
only i can do now is watch youtube videos....

Im having the same issue. Was working just fine while playing. Then a crash to desktop. Then I get the error cannot load save for a newer version of the witcher. My game is up to date but I cant load any saves.

90+ hours of gaming is now gone.

i went to this problem without any crashes. my saves just stoped to load game. i dont know, maybe it because of steam version or just bug. but its cinda crul.

Would really love at least a mention that this is known and someone is gonna look into it.

As of now the game is unplayable period. Im not starting over.

I'm having the same issue after installing patch 1.05. Loading any of my saves results in an infinite loading screen.
Starting a new game comes with the same result.
Changing display settings hasn't affected it. Removing the user settings, and resetting hasn't had any effect, either.
Loaded the latest AMD Beta drivers (previously was at the latest non-beta), to no effect.

Attempting a re-install.

Current specs:
Win 7 64 bit
AMD FX 6300 6-core CPU
AMD Radeon 290, 4gig vram
8 gigs ram.
AMD something something motherboard

I can load some old Savegames i manualy saved but every new save seems to be broken. When I try to load any new savegame the loadingscreens appears and after a few seconds it turns black and throws me back to windows. This is realy the worst bug i ever had in any game. It's not just a broken quest you can simply skip and still progress. It's the damn save system thats broken and realy prevents any real progress. Such a great game and such a huge bug.

In this order.

Did not use GOG launcher.
Downloaded all parts and patches from GOG.com
Installed without using GOG downloader/installer/manager
Installed patches
Installed DLC's
Started game and got my crack back.

A full reinstall appears to have worked.

Did in same order as sinsa13, except:
Install with GOG Galaxy, and let it auto-update the patches.
Then added the dlc.

confirm. reinstalled game from scratch and its work.
