Game will not stop crashing

Ok so this game has been crashing my pc since i got it. i do not have any problems with my pc. within every hour to about 1:30 minutes i crash to a black screen and my pc restarts. i do not have this problem with any other games what so ever. i can play gta5 bf4 bf3 csgo, Batman arkham knights (if you can believe that). and any other games. nothing i do on my pc crashes my pc except this game. and its been this way since i got it.. sometiems it dont crash but it takes me 4 to 5 crashes to get it working right. i am not using any mods. and i play the game on high fps across the board at about 90 to 70fps at all times. so when is this going to get fixed. cause i know if this is happening to me. there are plenty of others as well. its not just me.

my pc specs are
gtx970
i7 3770k
win8.1
8 gigs of ram.
the normal like most other pc gamers.
so whats the deal?

i shouldn't have to play low or medium. this is not user error. this is game breaking error and should be looked at. i dont know. if the update after dx12 and win 10 don't fix it im just going to remove the game and not play it no more. the game has crashed on me over 100 times. and its not my fault. its 100% the game

witcher 3 still crashing

so yeah i've posted a few times trying to get a fix for this. and not one person knew of how to fix it. its been a few months and it still wont stop. are you going to ever fix it? or just wait till someone with 500K subs on youtube complains about it like the rest of the game companies?

ANYHOW.

there are tons of posts on reddit and steam complaining of the same thing. and not one dev has said or addressed it what so ever. i do infact have 275k subs on youtube, and if no one does try to help i will load a video explaining how you are ignoring the posts and the problems we are having. i haven't been able to play the game for over 20 minutes without it crashing for about 4 months. this is fuckin pathetic. i am never buying another game from your company ever again. this is my first purchase and my last. this is honestly a complete joke.

there isnt any problems with my pc. i can run gta5 fine. csgo, batman, shadow of mordor ect, i do not have any problems except this crap broken game.

my specs.
win 8.1
i7 3770k
gtx 970
8 gigs of ram
all the latest drivers

It's not your fault, but it is probably your PCs fault. And no, you shouldn't need to play on low settings - I have almost identical specs to you and I can play on a mix of Ultra and High.

First question is, as Brogan80 suggested earlier, the driver version. There's been a few updates since the earlier posts, and 355.82 seems stable. So update to that if you haven't already.
If you're on that version and still having problems, then " black screen and my pc restarts" would suggest either overheating or a power supply problem. Are you monitoring temperatures?

Your system specs seem solid. Is the crashing wholly random, or have you noticed any patterns? Are there any errors messages?

A crash and system reboot is almost always a result of a Windows error or a hardware error. (It's actually quite difficult for a game to crash your system, nowadays.) You seem to be confident that your temps are fine, so that means troubleshooting OS stuff.

1.) Have you tried running the game offline? Steam/Galaxy can cause issues.

2.) As @Brogan80 asked, what driver version are you running and where did you get the drivers?

3.) Are you noticing any big SSD/HDD activity before the crash?

4.) Try physically unplugging you ethernet cable (or disabling your wireless adapter) and see if the crash occurs.

5.) Check your motherboard on start-up and ensure all of the red lights go off after 10-20 seconds. (If other games work fine, I doubt its this.)

I've played the game since release and have never had a single crash. And now, while everyone in creation raves about how amazingly stable Mad Max is, I get hangs during gameplay that force me to Ctr-Alt-Del out of the game. Can't figure it out for the life of me, but I know it's an Nvidia issue.

I can assure you, there is nothing wrong with either TW3 or Mad Max. It's the computers; every system is different. My guess is it's a result of the newest drivers. Have you tried rolling back to 353.30?

Does it say anything about the display driver stopping? I had a crashing issue that was related to my the factory-overclocking of my GTX 970. I had to download MSI afterburner and change "Core Clock" to negative twenty-five or so (-25), which would cause the crashing to happen much, much less often
