Game wont save

played for 2 hrs.i had autosaves and quicksaves and went to start playing again..there were no saves there at all..but i did patch after i did the saves.do they just wipe or is there a problem ..ty in advance for response.

There have been a couple if issues where saves have been lost . Usually most have to do with cloud saving if using Steam . Personally i have never had any issue with saves disappearing .

Same problem here, solve this by looking in the folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\107691134\20920\remote

found all my savegames here.
Just Copy them (CTRL + A -> CTRL + C) and go to this folder:

C:\Users\\Documents\Witcher 2\gamesaves

and insert them all (CTRL + V (override if necessary))

worked for me.
