Guys, can somebody play with me? I gave my second key to a friend who cannot play today, so I can't even try the game, since Matchmaking doesn't seem to work :(

Guys matchmaking is not working. I've been trying to get a game for some time and nothing happens. You must get very lucky to join an existing lobby, otherwise you simply create one. Maybe we should let it rest for a while.

When I say that I've been trying I mean, myself and two of my friends. We almost never meet each other. And when we do it is only two people.

Not enough in which sense? Much less interesting, or doesn't run at all?
Could you please reply to this in the following thread, btw:

(for the sake of not diverting this one).

Maybe we can just play together for now? I invite you to this thread: http://forums.cdprojektred.com/threads/30771-Playing-with-other-forum-members

Just had two quick games against random people but they both locked up due to me zooming in on cards during my opponent's turn (I've posted in the bug thread).

RE: feedback. First impressions, it looks and sounds fantastic. I'll have more detailed thoughts/feedback later, but the only thing that stood out during those 10 minutes was that when rolling dice the physics doesn't seem right. I loved the dice game in TW1 (better than in TW2 imo) and the weight and feel of those dice felt great. These dice feel a bit floaty and light.

Otherwise, can't wait for my friend to get his copy installed later so we can sit and chat and take our time over a game.

A windowed mode option would be great. Or an options screen (audio, video, gameplay settings) altogether for that matter. :p

Played a match.

-place the chat window in the lower left corner next to player info. No reason for it to be taking up map space.
-let us review our own cards between turns.
-the font seems quite generic, and I would keep all font prompts near the bottom of the screen and much smaller.
-the map could use more of that CDPR attention to detail
-when we review player stats, let us click the same icon again to close, not navigate to the opened screen to press close tab.
-icons in general need more feedback, ie sound and visual effects to make it clear you've hovered the pointer over an option and clicked.

The actual gameplay, the transition between player turns and online stuff was smooth as butter. I look forward to the final release. Thanks for the early access!

Something I've noticed, in 1 Quest games, Geralt seems to have an overwhelming advantage, he's won every time I've played in a 1 Quest limit game, with Tessa coming in close, think primarily because their Quest lines are easier to achieve since they have cheaper Proofs, relatively speaking. In 3 Quests or more, it's almost always Yarpen because once he builds up his armory and has enough uses for each card, he's pretty much invincible. I completely dominated in two of the matches I played because after about turn 10, he was just steamrolling through monsters and challenges. I haven't really had the game error out on my end when I've played yet, but I'll make sure to post something if I see it happen. Good times so far on my end at least! :)

I received the e-mail with a key for me and my friend, I downloaded it and installed, but when I try to play the game it says "Authentication Failed", as if I`m not part of the beta. My friend can play, though.

ok here some tought and feedback
- when rolling dice, the dices shouldn't go out of the screen
- when a player use an action, the game show the action & the code action (ie : player xxx take action : actionquicktravel QUICK TRAVEL)
- when fighting a monster, there is no indication about the red and white dices : what the diff ?
- clicking on one of your cards bring it to the front, but having to click on the hide arrow isn't really user friendly, should be able to clic on the card again to minimize it
- when it's another player turn, could be great to take a look at their cards (quest, fate / invest / xp) because right now it's a little boring. Or be able to switch player and read you own card with a tab system of some sort
- friend list would be great
- when finishing a game, could have a warning popup about closing the chat or having the possibility to continue exchanging informations like some sort of debrief.

that all for now. Great game guys, keep up the good work !

I've played ten minutes yesterday and everything was fine, but when I clicked on "Exit" the game closed instantly. Maybe a confirmation pop-up could be interesting.

Great work by the way.

After two games: IMHO, there are not enough interactions between the players. For now, I can only see putting monsters in opponent's region and, if in the same region, killing the bronze monster to force him to battle the silver/gold one. More ways to interact with other players would be very appreciated. But overhaul the game is great. Keep up the good work! :)

The friend's list and player history will be nice additions. Overall, very impressed. I have no RL friends interested in board games so this is a day one buy for me. Right now it's just a bit confusing though, getting whooped every turn. :(

A PDF manual might not hurt, the tutorial is pretty spare.

5 Fast games with a friend
First the music volume is to high and no option to lower it other than going to windows sound mixer
Second The tutorial is fine but some PDF with more info is necessary, we have to speculate on a lot of things (warpath, victory conditions in the same turn)
Third In your turn everything is fine but while the other player is in his turn you cant do nothing and see nothing, while playing with my friend we talk with TS and read the cards and the actions, it helps for learning the game but i prefer to see his turn AND talk with him
Fourth The dice fells wrong, its like paper dice
Fith In fast games Geralt is overpowered followed by Dandelion (Jaskier dammit Jaskier) its to easy to play them, i think Triss and Yarpen are more of late game
Sixth Friend list, lobby list, etc...

In general i like the game a lot and i can only see improvements in its future, also help me with my decision of buying the tabletop version

Keep the good work

How can we take screenshots in-game? That would make it easier to explain some things we find out, I think.

I've only read through the tutorial so far and I also encountered many typos, mainly genitive used without apostrophe, for example it says "Geralds" instead of "Gerald's" and even "Trisss" instead of "Triss's". :)

Hold either Left Shift, Right Shift, Left Ctrl, Right Ctrl, Alt or Alt Gr and press 'Play' in the 'Launch The Witcher Adventure Game' GoG Launcher, and voilà:

I started a game with just one opponent, he left the game at first turn so I was alone. The game didn't ask me to leave or to look for more opponents. I think the game should check how many VP do I have. If it's zero points, send me back to lobby, one point or more, end the game saying I win.

I played one public game with two other random people.
We managed to finish a whole game.

I noticed one gameplay bug and one UI bug:

BUG: Victory points not awarded after completing side quest
Main quest card was: "Go to Due'n Canell".
I completed the side quest "Buy gift for Queen" (spend 3 orens) but no victory points were awarded. The side quest was shown as completed on the card but the victory points weren't added to the display next to my player portrait.
I had already completed the other side quest on that card and that time the victory points were correctly awarded.
I was playing as Dandelion.

BUG: Typographical error
On the purple Investigation card called "Foul Play", there was a space missing. The text shown was "glorybut", which should be "glory but" .

Re: Gameplay
It would be good if we could see other player's rolling dice, see what they roll and how they change the dice, and the final outcome. I guess the specific enemy could be hidden and only show whether it is Bronze/Silver/Gold.

If quests are completed too quickly then the Victory Points become irrelevant. It might be better if the victory condition was to reach a certain number of Victory Points (e.g. 50, 75, 100) instead of number of Quests Completed.

Maybe the buttons like "roll dice" need to be more visual. There's no way to know that's the button you need to click to advance or even that it is a button. Perhaps the cursor should change his shape or something like that.

I finish two games, each with 1 different opponent - after hours of waiting in the lobby on the two days before
I like the graphics very much and the sound, too
Chatting is good, team speak would be a useful addiction
A tutorial with an example playthrough would be nice, especially for totally beginners in this genre like me ^^
All in all I had lot of fun :)
