Hm... could be a faulty mod or two. Take the mods out one by one or in batches if you have a lot, and see when the game continues playing.

I'm pretty confident performing a clean install would allow you playing without crash (and well, obviously without mods), but if you load a "modded save", there are good chances the game will crash or you would encouter some issues...

Had the same issue and I think I found a solution. Maybe it will work for you too.
I just disabled the cloud save feature through GOG. Go to Manage Installation -> Configure -> Features -> checkbox for cloud saves.
It worked like a charm.

I was having the same problem. Read on a different forum to roll back the Nvidia drivers. That worked for me. I am now using 576.28

I got constant crashes and Ive tried all of the tips written about here.
No mods. I was playing a new save on a new install on my new PC (5060 graphicscard)
Turned of overlays for GOG-Galaxy, Nvidia and Discord.
Tried the newest drivers. Tried half a year old drivers.
Tried running as admin.
Gave it a pass trough my firewall.
Reinstalled the game (even though verification said it was fine)
Turned of cross plattform saves.
Tried running it in Win8 - mode.
Tried a bunch of different graphical options on and off, including turning fullscreen optimization off. *
Then just turned on "Low" settings so everything was off, on low/medium.
And it still crashes.

Now, the PC is pretty new. About 1½ months.
So the only games it has run is Total War Warhammer 2, and my kids playing Roblox and Minecraft.
But I have had it crash when playing CP2077.
And it crashes cooonstantly. Somewhere between 3 and 30 minutes. Usualy like 20 min or so.
It crashes mostly when running around, but had had crashes during loading, during the main menu, and while looking at the map.

*most of my playtime I have just had Nvidias recommended settings

Did you survey you system while playing, maybe you could naotice something just before the crashes?
Did you try to disable Ray Tracing and lower graphics (path tracing, framegen, etc...) to check if it change something (still crash, or it take a bit longer,...)

Don't you have a game which is a bit more demanding to test?
Not sure about Total War Warhammer 2 and Roblox, but Minecraft could run on a toaster and I doubt your kids build farms which could stress your harware (maybe they do^^)

I havent noticed anything with my PC. I can find no pattern. Realy tried to close all programs etc.
And I played it on the "Low" settings so almost everthing was Off, Low or at best Medium.
Since my previous PC was like 9 years old I didnt realy have any modern/more demanding games.
Control maybe? Still 6 years old though....
I checked free games on Steam and found Marvel Rivals. Will try that on high settings.

Last time I was having this problem, turning off Bluetooth on my PC seemed to fix it, for whatever reason.
