Games that made you cry? [SPOILERS]

Games that made you cry:
(No particular order.)

Cyberpunk 2077
Life is Strange
Bioshock infinite
Firewatch
Walking Dead
Alyx VR (but mostly because I actually lived long enough to see Half Life 3 and finish the god dam story)!

I noticed a big gap between most of these games and cyberpunk 2077. So maybe I just do not play as many games as I use to, Any other recent games that could go on a list like this?
Witcher 3 wild hunt - suicidal ending and Red dead redemption Arthur's death these to made me very

RDR

+1 For the Mass Effect Trilogy, the characters just pull you in so you never want it to end, but unfortunately, it has to

I tend to avoid bad feelings, which is the reason I halted my game after finding out about the endings and watching a playthrough on Youtube before deciding if I should continue / start over or not...

But anyway, my point is... I know at least one game but I genuinely can't remember which one.
Duh
AC Odyssey. Every time.

Dragon Age: Origins
In my very first playthrough my Grey Warden declined Morrigan's dark ritual and sacrificed himself to kill the Archdemon. Alistair's speech and end credits with "I Am The One" in the background made me weep.
Assassin's Creed: Origins
Shadya's death
Assassin's Creed: Odyssey
Meeting Myrrine, it was a really moving and perfectly executed scene
Witcher 3
I think I even shed a tear on the The Witcher 3 Video Game Show Live Concert in 2016 when they were performing "The Wolf and the Swallow"

Shadows of the Damned

Edit: Ooh, ooh...tears for the obvious reason:

Ikaruga
Ghosts 'n Goblins

All Trials games

Metro Exouds, when a person dies with whom you have been side by side for three games in a row, it is difficult to contain emotions

Homeworld . . .

"No one's left....Everything's gone....Kharak is burning! ..."

To Adagio for Strings, choral version.

Blubbed like a baby.

dont think any game ever made me cry. also i tend to avoid games like rdr2. what a wonderful masterpiece. only to be ruined by the story ending.

I rarely cry, but getting choked up is pretty much the same for me, emotionally at least. I'm an empathetic being, so some scenes affect me more because I imagine the burden and suffering indicated than what is actually shown directly.

- Horizon Zero Dawn - the big revelation and what it meant to those going up against nothing but total eradication
- Detroit: Become Human - it's literally engineered to hurt you, just like...
- Beyond: Two Souls - Yeah, this one borders at being a "cruel life simulator"
- The Witcher 3 - it's worst ending feels so incredibly close to how I felt when I was suicidal, total inner nothingness that's just waiting to die

Those were pretty understandable, but how about this one...
- Final Fantasy XIII-2 - Not only is the ending a cliffhanger and gets it it's message of inevitability across by spitting you in the face, but it ALSO does it in one of the heaviest and most brutal tonal shifts I have ever experienced and my god, it made me cry out of sheer anger and frustration
