• Titanfall - November 2013 (another TPS/Mecha hybrid)

Not a TPS.

Not sure what to think about Titanfall. On the one hand, it's an interesting idea that you can control both the pilot and the robot and you have jetpcks and cloaking so it's got some cool stuff like that.

On the other hand, the actual shooting looks a lot like CoD, which is unsurprising, I guess, since it's a game made by ex-Infinity ward guys.

Eh, might just stick to Tribes and finally play some MechWarrior Online...

Well, yes, but maybe the can pull off a hybrid single/multiplayer thing. I doubt it, but it's possible.

I wanna recommend Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. A flawed gem of a game. The graphics are ugly, the combat is clunky and it's the devil's job trying to get it to run on a modern PC.

All of that is fixed with Wesp's unofficial patch (latest version is 8.6 and can be found here).

Install that patch and it will run like a charm on any PC, in full-HD 1080p wide-screen, no problem.


Seriously, if ANYONE in this thread is going to try Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines, GET THAT UNOFFICIAL PATCH! I can't stress that enough. That patch is not optional, it's mandatory. It contains a lot of highly-needed fixes and updates that transforms the game from a nearly unplayable mess to an an actual stable and almost bug-free game.

I haven't been following the game too closely so it's possible that they've said that. Either way, what I've heard is that they're trying to merge the 2 modes onto one, so that players can experience both.
