Gamesaves of cyberpunk 2077 are gone.

After a few days without playing the game, I opened the game today and all my savegames have disappeared when I try to load the game.

I checked my my saved games folder, C:\Users\*****\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077 and tried various solutions found online, but none have worked, because the folder is empty other than for two files, named:

steam_autocloud.vdf
user.gls

There are no subfolders, only those two files. The timestamps match the last time I opened the game, so looks like for whatever reason the saved games have been overwritten with blank data.

I checked in https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage but there is only a single 228 B file.

I opened a ticket to Steam Support to see if they have any other (older) backup, but they said that they do not hold any backups and cannot restore the files, suggesting me to ask CD ProjektRED instead.

Does anyone know how can I recover the lost savefiles?

If this is only about cloud saves, I doubt CDPR will be able to do much about it. But you can still ask them...

So it happened to you too I feel like my save file was glitching. My old console was the Xbox One but it was broken and melted on the inside
