I'm starting to wonder why they "re-announced" the game as early as they did. At their current pace we're not likely to be shown any gameplay until next E3 with the release probably being at least another 6-12 months after that, which would be plenty of time to build up hype. So why not just wait until you're actually ready, instead of whatever this is.
I could've sworn I read one time that they didn't want another dragged out announce-release period, and maybe wanted to draw inspiration from how companies like Bethesda usually structure their reveals and announcements, but that's clearly not the case. At this point I guess we can just hope they learned their lesson when it comes to announcing release dates so we won't have to go through another two delays.
