Nice...you can see INSIDE a location from the outside. So, is this telling us that there will be NO load screens when going from outdoors to indoors (and vice versa)? Will it be a seamless transition?

Odd...I did see the Alpha and don't recall the transitions...So, here's the next question - when are there load times/load screens?B/t certain areas?

On this page, Gamespot says:As for the game itself, The Witcher 2 is a direct sequel to the events of the 1.5 million-unit selling original and picks back up with professional monster slayer Geralt following a failed assassination of Temerian royalty. Geralt then sets out on a quest to track down the king's attempted killers, while also continuing to pursue those responsible for murdering other witchers. "While also continuing to pursue those responsible for murdering other witchers," huh? The Professor -- the murderer of Leo -- is killed in TW1. At least, I thought he was. Is the Professor not dead after all? Or is Salamandra not broken after all? Or are more witchers killed at the beginning of the game? Please say that nothing happens to Vesemir and Eskel!

Yeah I also didn't get that piece of information, I suppose some of the witchers die?? Or maybe something to do with the past stories of the saga, but I havent read it entirely so I don't know (I'm talking about Coën for example, don't know exactly what happened there).

Yes I know, thanks very much. The thing is that I don't know if I want to find out know or wait until I can read it (in english) for myself, but from the game I know he died somehow. I have used that wiki a lot to learn about the saga, especially for Sword of Destiny, since it's is prior to Blood of Elves, and only this book and the Last Wish are available in english. From what I read in Blood of Elves, I really liked Coën. Thanks for the gesture though!! :peace:

Heh... I didn't want to just blurt things out as I wasn't sure whether you want spoilers or not. I did read the saga and there isn't really much more there then in wikia and the game.

Oh my, that will be a major argument in favor of playing the game for some people that played the first game and complained about the loading screens

About loading screens - W2 contains technology, which loads small locations while you play - so there will be no loading screens while entering small places like homes, caves etc. Of course while entering big location, there will be loading screen :p

The Witcher 2 hexing PC's early 2011By Tom Magrino, GameSpotPosted Mar 23, 2010 4:00 pm PTCD Projekt Red has been talking about The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, officially at any rate, since October. At that time, the Polish game maker decided to dish out the first details on the sequel to its acclaimed dark fantasy role-playing game from 2007, after unauthorized footage leaked onto the Internet.Today, CD Projekt has returned with more information on The Witcher 2, announcing that the game will be available for the PC during the first part of 2011. In an interview discussing The Witcher 2 with GameSpot today, below, CD Projekt Red senior producer Tomasz Gop said the team would also like to do a console edition of the game, but definite plans have yet to be finalized. As for the game itself, The Witcher 2 is a direct sequel to the events of the 1.5 million-unit selling original and picks back up with professional monster slayer Geralt following a failed assassination of Temerian royalty. Geralt then sets out on a quest to track down the king's attempted killers, while also continuing to pursue those responsible for murdering other witchers.CD Projekt Red has crafted an all-new game engine for The Witcher 2 and, in the process, has redone many of the tools that the developers used to create the game. As a result, CD Projekt Red hopes to create a smoother play experience with faster combat and a more engrossing feel. For more information, check out GameSpot's brand-new preview of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.
