I have the "sleep free" mod -- it doesn't seem fair to pay the full room price for a corner of the rug.gamewidow said:ack, i never pay for accommodation in the Temple district![]()
Hell its only 5 orens.. But yea I always found it funny "Got any rooms?", "For you 5 orens", "Fine" next thing you know your in main part of the Inn near the fist fighters kneeling on a carpet... Ditto! I have commented on getting an old rug in the middle of the inn to meditate on, as well. Sometimes a Witcher might just want a little bit of peace and quiet to meditate in!Corylea said:I have the "sleep free" mod -- it doesn't seem fair to pay the full room price for a corner of the rug.![]()
Thats what the brothel is for !rachiie said:Sometimes a Witcher might just want a little bit of peace
I know what you mean, I quite liked the original holleringChuckles said:Con:The removal of "Honor!" in trade district and the replacement of a constant "Damn it's hot in this thing". The new is more annoying than the old.
ah-ha, I endorse this listChuckles said:I like the actor who voiced Geralt, also Zoltan, Kalkstein, Thaler, Vesemir, and The Resolute Girl.
Adda is described has having "flaxen red" hair in the english translation of the short story "The Witcher", when Geralt lifts the curse from her. Also, in the english translation she isn't described as be mentally retared but simply "somewhat dull-witted".robber804 said:I listened to a whole crap load of dialogue, and i just replaced all of lambert and leo since i didnt like the new voices. Also the file names with be the same, they will only differ in the file extension, one will have a .say and one will have a .ogg example file "abgl_2_7.ogg" goes with file "abgl_2_7.say"Also Garalt was talking about "Ravens" and "Crows" in the same context as he was the "Hawkers" and "Squirrels" iirc, i have listened to a lot of stuff right now, but i do remember a lot of dialogue about ravens and crows. I also dont remember any bruxa talking to me but it has been a while since i last played all the way through the game, i put the game down for a few months until the EE came out. So it is possible i have forgotten some things.I am not sure if i like the old or new Princess Adda voice, either way I don't think it matches the novel (reading that now) I read somewhere after Garalt saved her she had white hair and was retarted. Maybe someone can at least mod her to have white hair. Also iirc the date mentioned at the start of the game is not correct, I think it should be 1268 (but i am just being picky) to be in line with the novels. If someone can find the .ogg that has Garalt talking about witcher george please post the file name, waaaay too many garalt files to listen to right now. Also maybe someone can start a list of ogg files with extended dialogue / more appropriate emotion. Also does anyone know how the .say files are edited and just what do they do, i assume it is the text displayed while the person is speaking.robber804 said:Wow. Cool! Thanks for explaining how to do that. How do you know which file goes with which line, though?robber804 said:It is easy to fix all of this stuff I am suprised no one has done so yet. here is how to have the best of bothHmm. Are you sure it isn't dialogue for paths you haven't taken? If not, that's very interesting -- I wonder what it is!Thre also seems to be a lot of dialogue that isn't used in the game at all
