Maybe you`re joking....maybe not . Regardless it seems like material for baiting . One on which we frown on around here .DERWIXA said:Well, I like his new gay suite![]()
This is completely incorrect.huber1989 said:Only men who are deliberately training to look good have a stature like Geralt. And somehow I doubt he's doing workouts each day and keeps a strict diet. ;-)

Men with a high shoulder to waist ratio tend to have high natural levels of testosterone so there's nothing girly or feminine about them. It's a normal trait that many athletic men have, and they don't need to be in the gym to have it.
Sheesh, are you guys all fat or overweight or something? The amount of focus you're putting on his "girly" waist line certainly indicates such..
I don't know what this was in response to, but this is irrelevant to the issue.Men with a high shoulder to waist ratio tend to have high natural levels of testosterone so there's nothing girly or feminine about them.
Seems the relationship between anatomy and pattern is not well known. By the way the shoulders of that awful armor have at least 4 layers of material, low body one, although it is logical that they were two. And there are different fabric woven with the same number of strands of cotton yarn can be created from diaphanous tulle to sturdy sheets. The same for leather or metallic fabrics.kitta said:I don't see any intelligent responses other than a bunch of ad hominems, like people who are noticing the flaw are fat. Geralt's waist looks disproportionately small when you take into account the thickness of his armor. The armor is padded on the top, but it is just as tight, so we can assume that the curviness which occurs towards the lower end of his abdomen is physical, and not an artifact of the armor.
His character modeling is exaggerated on one end of the spectrum for the lower half of his abdomen, it looks disproportionate with the rest of this balanced body.

I was just curious as to how people can equate a narrow waist with femininity, when a narrow waist is typically a masculine trait. So perhaps they are used to seeing men with thick waistlines (or perhaps they have a thick waistline themselves) and think thats normal and masculine.I don't know what this was in response to, but this is irrelevant to the issue.
It's all in your head. His waist does not look disproportionately small to me, because I can disassociate the thickness of his armor pieces from his actual build. It only looks that way because he's wearing a chest and shoulder pieces which artificially augment the size of his upper torso.Geralt's waist looks disproportionately small when you take into account the thickness of his armor. Again, try disassociating the armor from his actual build and you'll see his build is perfectly proportionate. His character modeling is exaggerated on one end of the spectrum for the lower half of his abdomen, it looks disproportionate with the rest of this balanced body.

I'm pretty sure the waist is overly narrow but I guess viewing it from all angles might help us sort things through. I remember seeing one of the first screenshots and thinking Geralt had gown a hunchback...
