He definitely isn't pale enough. Heck he looks more tan than me and I live in California!

If you don't craft dark items on your playthrough, you are left with lots of money after W2. I think this is what happened to Geralt - after Loc Muinne incident he spent all his money eating cakes and burgers ..... recovering his strength ... ehm. ... Or maybe bloated face is from heavy drinking. Now here is the result. Wearing corset armor doesn't help much - good living shows in his cheeks. :D
Seriously, his cheeks look little bit too fat.
Geralt - The White Hamster :)
I think only a slight fine tuning is needed....

It is just his beard you guys, devs are probably laughing at you.;)
Serious.. I was playing TW2 and Geralt looks the same with the same color and face shape.
Even my face looks more fat and different when I have my beard and mustache, TW3 Gearlt is just a better looking model of TW2.
I bet when he shaves it off, you'll be like yeah... that's more like it.;)

his face isn't that different. The thing that's bothering me is Geralt has become rather pink, 90% of the time he's a pink as fuck. He's supposed to be rather pale and unhealthy complexion. There was greater variation in W2.

This is what Geralt looks like without a beard.

I tried zooming in as much as possible without losing quality.

wow looking at two pics we can really tell the difrence, the first one donse´t look menacing at all(even a goose can stop him), the second pic tells "don´t mess with me"

i think gerald it´s becoming more user friendly :(

I agree his face proportions looks too fat for a witcher. The face itself looks great but it needs to be more slim like in Witcher 2.

I think that was lighting weirdness more than anything. He could go from rather normal looking to chalk white depending on what he wore and where he was. Skin tone shouldn't change that drastically.

in any lighting he looks pink except that whole forest dark forest. He looks like a perfectly healthy human which is weird as fuck maybe there's a plot reason.

I agree that the transition to RED3 has softened and/or beefed up Geralt's features. He looks like an approachable almost nice guy now, but in TW2 he was distinctly Slavic and mean looking.

Even without potions he looks more menacing. In TW2 Geralt's skin was pale instead of pink, he had glowing yellow eyes instead of dark orange eyes, he had a white stubble instead of a dark grey one, and he had discolored lips instead of perfectly normal and healthy lips. I really hope they fix the coloring of his face.

I only like the new version of him in the picture with Triss and Yen.. otherwise I prefer the debut trailer version, it was like W2 but improved. He looks more badass to me in that one... and more how I picture him. His face is too fat in the Gamescom stuff

I agree with you 100%. Geralt was so unique and stood out of the bunch of stereotyped and cloned protagonists of other games.

I really hope they reshape his face basing it on TW2 Geralt.
