Don't fix what ain't broken. VGX version looks the closest to TW 2's Geralt which pretty much everyone loved. The new version looks unfamiliar.
This. Geralt has a very distinct and likable face in Assassins of Kings, and Option 2 and 3 are the closest to that.
If I understand correctly, CDPR had to replace those when they implemented new facial animation technology, but I see no reason why they'd change his looks so drastically. That round face coupled up with the circle beard reminds me of an opera singer, not the lean witcher I've grown so fond of.

After seeing gameplay I've started to become fond of Geralt's TW3 look. But what really bothers me with it is that the eyes aren't glowing.

Just look...the eyes, the remorseless stare...

I actually like what I have seen so far for TW3, it is definitely a different interpretation and more "aged" Geralt but it all comes down to what he will look like in the final version months from now. Remember how many times TW2 Geralt was changed until the game was released?

I think the new face colors have a little too much of pink. I mean look at some scenes from new trailer vs. different versions:

I know it can vary in different light conditions, but I still think it's a little too vivid, pinkish. Geralt looks way better a little paler as on those right screens.

I don't seen unfamiliar but more elaborated, wich a story behind every ride and scar of this face.... So, I love it!

I just find he looks a little too human in the recent images - I'd like the glowing eyes and the paler skin back again, despite the fact that...

... @Varth1 - it's for the same reason as that image in your avatar, cat's eyes collecting and reflecting light. Which they tend NOT to do in daytime. So yes, strictly speaking they shouldn't glow unless he's in low light levels.

But he is human, a muted human. People use don't realize this untill they look into his eyes....

Is it just me or are they heavily basing the new face stucture model after Brad Pitt? In the E3 gameplay videos, the fuller cheeks reminded me of Brad Pitt in Inglorious Bastards, but anyway, I prefer the new model, it looks much more natural and realistic, kudos for the facial animations, very natural looking

To my personal taste, this 2nd seems too soft, too well-living way which Geralt never has had.

And for the eyes glowing... that' could depend of the Geralt's mood

I like option 1. The dark eyebrows balances the whiteness of his hair. The beard is stylish and not over the top. He does not look too young nor too old like in the Killing monsters iteration. Although, like all of W3 depictions of Geralt, I miss the subtlety and characteristics of Geralt's lower facial structure. Is it just me or his chin doubled in size since W2? Maybe its just the beard.

Look at how Geralt's eyes looked in TW2, they have a golden glow to them.

Same kind of eyes are found at the summer commercial poster, and the other pictures listed by OP.

Now compare them to the eyes of the current TW3 Geralt.

The current eyes look more subtle and realistic. I guess its a matter of taste, I'm not a fan of the Marvel Super-mutant looking eyes :)

But he is supposed to be "weird mutant" looking though. The current eyes make him look more normal, which he isn't supposed to be.

Oh man... I want this ARMOR!! PLEASE BE IN TW3!! :)

Geralt's jawline looks to wide in one of the cut scenes but whatever. I think my favorite NEW GERALT FACE is the face from the CE FIGURE!!
