The VGX or the Summer Conference or whatever, I want Geralt from Teh Witcher 2 !!!!!!!!!!!! I've grown accustomed to his face over the last 3 years and the dozen or so playthroughs of the game.
Do you guys know if Geralt's face in the last gameplays of the E3 is the final and official one? Or is there room to improve and experiment?
I'd say that I don't dislike it, but i think it should be a bit sharper, like in TW2. In fact the angles of the jaw are too wide, the face is a bit too large and the cheeks give a strange feeling, just like he has something in his mouth. On a final note I'd say that his eyes are less contrasted than in the past and that's a pity, because the most yellow eyes of TW2 gave him a more witchery/supernatural look. I know this is a minor issue, but I think that polishing this features would help the immersion and the lore fidelity. I don't know, maybe it's just me. What do you think?

I love that one, but, as you can see, it's different from the one of the gameplay footages. If you compare them, you will notice that the one you posted is from cgi rendered model. The gameplay face is obviously less detailed and (what matters the most) different. Overall, I think that the best option would be a crossbreed between the new look and TW2 look, paying particular attention to the nose and the sharp face chin of TW2. Currently I think the face is too large.
But, as I mentioned before, I don't know if it's a prototype or the final result.

The VGX version for me....it just looks so much like Geralt from TW2 with upgrades ....I think they changed him a bit too much in TSOD trailer....i'm not saying he looks bad..far from it....i won't even be bothered by the change to be honest....but if i could choose it would be the VGX version.

No offense, but the Option 2 has no sense. The debut version is Geralt's face without some shaders added later, as we can see in the vgx trailer.
It's probably still my favorite choice although I don't really mind the new one either as it looked a lot better in-game than in the trailers. Although I definitely hope that beard style is an option in the game as the one from E3 was a bit lacking.No love for this one?

Anyway, one thing I'm still kinda hoping for is for Geralt's face to go pale when he drinks potions.

Well I could scream like a child that design of Geralt in Witcher 2 ruined me the game after Witcher 1 appearance which i loved. I don't! Please stop accusing people for what they like. I personaly like option 4 and 1 which is close to 4 and don't like 2 and 3 and I don't obtrude it to anyone. This thread is for polite discussing, not arguing.

Still a tough choice between the TW2 and TW3 version. I like that in the previous game he had a more feral, dangerous look to him.
He seems more like a mutant and definitely not conventionally handsome. But the upgrade in life like realism in TW3 is a huge improvement.
