Geralt's look... always updated with new appearances

You know guys .. everyone has different preferences. Guess developer should make their own game and decision on some aspects of the game and design. Then both party will have no conflicts :p

Sorry if I was not clear enough, two non natives have double language barrier, it seems. But I meant that the first attempt, which everyone complained about back then (the one in the link), actually looks a lot better than the latest model we've seen. Because the old one looks like a hunky witcher, not a turtle. ;)
Oops... sorryit's most likely a barrier or tired eyes-thanks to bad forum layout-white on black scree-lots of work in RL. *blush*

I know many like Geralt's look to resemble like the one in the books but CDPR would probably drag more non Witcher crowd like me to the game when they see a better looking protagonist which in terms in gaining more profit.Everyone likes to see beautiful stuff, it's a hard sad fact though. Regardless i'll standby whatever CDPR decides.

I have to admit I prefer the older, tired looking Geralt But then, I fully admit I've always had a bit of a thing for the wounded warrior archetype...

Oh, I'm not about the older or the younger Geralt, he's a sexy beast in any case. At least in the artworks. But I just have the impression that the version that made it into the game has these weird proportions. In the profile he looks good, but the front is clunky, the yaw too huge and he has a kind of stupid look and that isn't something I'd attribute to the wounded warrior archetype. But maybe (hopefully!) we haven't seen the real, final Geralt yet and will be pleasantly surprised... I won't stop hoping until I see him on my very own screen.

Yeah i'm fine with being old but the jaw looks terrible now.. sigh. all due to listening too much to fans.

I've been using a picture of Geralt as a desktop for I don't remember how many months, and I really like his look here. http://desktop.freewallpaper4.me/download/6871/the-witcher-2-assassins-of-kingsI hope he looks similar in the game. I've seen many different screen-shots on the net, but I have no idea which look is the final one. Can anyone show me?
That is more of a CGI picture i believe. In-game the character is no way resembling of that in the wallpaper.

Sadly, true. This is the box art picture, I think. I love this one and also the one on the forum background. Man, they tease us with the goodies and then... We might have to make a petition for an alternate-Geralt-model-DLC. ;)

There's already a thread and a poll and we have already been insulted enough for that, imohttp://www.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=32097.0
Tell me where I have to sign, please :)

I thought that I had read that Geralt was around 106 years old..since Yennefer was mid 90's when she died long before the first Witcher game. He looks younger than he did in the first game. Where is his white skin and the cat-like eyes? Why does ever gaming company try to fix things that were not complained about? The majority of complaints from the first game were about his eyes which were somewhat fixed with a few mods.

The in-game Geralt now looks perfect IMO, as I would expect him to look actually after a port to the new engine and with a different hairstyle. They did a great job. I'm not to keen on the new boxart though, I think they should have kept the old cover.

To me, He's supposed to be attractive, but not hadsome.
Well, I just got used to him:
and I like it (really white hair was ever my fantasy - image too) :D ... I'm not sure, if I will really like him
better - it is an important question of "feeling alike" and identification with the game - I think ^^.
