Thanks for the info. Almost every update and opinion I've heard seemed to lead to where I was going as far as change was concerned...but this is some truly fresh and good news. I second the notion that the new version looks much less menaciong and dangerous .In the first witcher Geralt looked like a man not to be crossed with, he had that dangerous look of a man not to be trifled with. Now Geralt looks like a boy, a foppish dandyboy .... and please change this hairstyle or give us at least the option to change it back to the old one.... But everything else is OK in my opinion....
The new visuals are stunning, but i still can't feel those little strokes of realism that gave the novels and the first game such impact. They always detracted from the fantasy cliches, not as much as to become a parody, but as much as to give the world a very distinct feel and keep it consistent, it's still early though. And i don't see a reason to change every character's face when they were perfectly fine in the first game and this is a direct sequel. I mean, we could pretty much have CG/Promotional art Geralt from the first one and we're getting what looks like someone tried to recreate his face in another game.
