I approve of this cutscene. would be nice if geralt kicks the guard in the bottocks after he leaves the tent. still funny that triss is the only one being completely undressed while geralt sleeps with his pants on.

If this is actually the face you wanted to show us from the beginning, so be it.But I preferred the old face a lot more. This seems a Kurt Russel clone.

I like the face, but.. yes there is a but, he looks too tired. Almost Looks like hes gotten a punch in each eye. Please don't make him look so depressed and beaten like a homeless person. Take away the blue under his eyes and everything is good.Other then that very good. Looking forward to this adventure a lot. Keep up the good work.

Removed a few a scars and the pruple under his eyes.I think if you load this in in one tab and the original in another tab, and than start quickly switching between the tabs, you'll see exactly what I did. :)

I like Geralt's older, weathered look as I've always taken him to look a lot like that. Tired. He isn't exactly the gung-ho sort of hero that goes happily into adventuring, he sees as lot of it as a chore, and it weighs on him.

Sorry, but did you mean the original image or my edited one? It's just that I would really like to hear opinions about my work.

I'm happy to see they dropped the 'Hollywood action hero' look for a more imaginative portrayal of Geralt.Thumbs up!

Please don't make him look old, he looked so bad ass the way he was. I'm telling you this will cause more harm then good. The way he looks in the background right now is totally awesome. If its possible make a modders resource that allows us to choose the face. CDprojeckt this is going to split the fan base and may even cause people to not buy the game out of frustration. You shouldn't be dividing your fans. This is not gonna be good for anyone. Your gonna get a lot of negative responses out of this even though some may like it. Its never a good idea to change something this critical a month before the game comes out. Please take these points into consideration.

I hope everyone understands that the new face is just for the game cover.

His face has been that way in the game for months, and it will stay that way. The face slated to be on the cover is much different.

I like it, i think Geralt looks good in general, i like the ponytail too as trying to do almost anything with your hair down is fairly distracting and in my experiance annoying, ponytails are the way to go :DI like the fact Geralt looks beaten around and gruff, i'm fed up of seeing near perfect looking, anime inspired, characters with oversized and over the top weapons and armour, they differ visualy but realy all those "types" of character are the same, be it final fantasy or DA or whatever sword swinging rpg/slash em up may be.It gives Geralt more depth and i think sets him apart from other protaginists in the same genre, however it does take a wee while to get used to it, the cover is not as easy on the eye as a prettiefied man, if i am to be so bold, i don't want to create the wrong impression of myself. :)

To me, it's the face of a tired hero. It suits him.

Amen.Geralt is not some Vincent Valentine. He's been the White Wolf since before most of the people around him were born. There's no pretending he's young, or that his face and body look anything other than "lived in, hard". And he's sexy not because he's some pretty boy but because he exudes confidence and experience, and he knows how to treat women right. The only problem I have with the cover portrait is it lacks expression. Earlier covers had a noticeable (and suitable) sneer.

Among the little (IMO) problems that have been discussed in the forum (the screen resolution, the DRM in retail copies, the rolling movement in combat,...) the only one thing that worries me a bit is the general lack of character expressions in the cutscenes. Geralt is not an emotional guy, i get it, but the others, Triss, Geralt...

Am I the only one that finds hypocritical that people complain about Geralt's new look, but flip over whenever someone asks for help modding the first game to have censored sex cards so they don't take a dump in their own values when playing the game?Seriously, which is more of an "affront to the arts"?You, demanding a ****** pretty boy that's actually a mutant mercenary with 60 years of utter crap behind him? Or people asking for help modding their own game, which they probably paid for?[moderator]That last line has no place here [/moderator]
