Get Junior "BUG" - Cant talk to roache when i go into his hideout for first time

I cant progress on the quest get junior because i cant talk to roache, i have tried everything but nothing seems to work, i also noticed the problem with the quest: " wanna look at my stuff?" cant talk to the guy either, please if someone knows how to fix this.

I'm having same issue as well. My 2nd play through on 1.07... Didn't have this problem on my 1st run with 1.05.
Replaying 2nd time to get into Gwent and I did go to Skellige to get as many gwent cards as I can. Then went back to do "Get Junior" quest.
Please help fix or work around! (oh hi devs)

version: PC on Steam
hardware: i5820 with Titan Z
things i've done: tried the fast travel btwn Freya checkpoint. meditate. push NPC around (tried almost everything i can find on forums)
things i've NOT done: Start fresh new game with 1.07 (my 2nd play created using 1.06 but waited for 1.07 to continue)

Also am doing the get junior quest and never get the cut scene upon finding the location where Roche is. I walk right into the cave and can't interact with Roche.

Running 1.07 and am dead in the water on completing the main quest till this issue is resolved.

I have the same issue with vernon roche in the get junior quest.
Multiple threads on multiple forums showing a lot of people with this exact problem after the 1.07 patch.

No cutscene when arriving at the place. Can't continue the story. Was expecting 1.07 for so long and now this

Same problem, can't talk to Vernon Roche as I enter the cave.
Patch 1.07 installed

Same here. I entered the cave, no cutscene, VR won't talk to me. Bumping him with my horse or fast travel won't help.

I'm on 1.07 on PC.

Also, I can't talk to Gremist The Druid for playing Gwent in the quest "Gwent : Skellige style"

PS4 owner here, also got the same bug.
Can't progress with the story due to this game breaking bug.

I also am having issues with this. I have a really easy way to fix this problem I wish someone in the program department would take me seriously. If you were to just reprogram the scene to not auto start and only start if you hit X to talk to Jr problem solved. As far as I know it should be 20 minutes of programming. I'm going to be very sad if they just shove this problem under the rug considering it's the main quest! It wouldn't be such a big deal if it was a side quest. I was playing the game for hours a day for the last 3 weeks and now I play none, I'm waiting for the fix.

Same here. Can't continue the main story until this is fixed. A hot fix is necessary asap. This is not some silly side quest, this is the main story.

I'm having exactly the same problem on XOne. Didn't start the Gangs of Novigrad quest but went to all 3 locations (arena/casino/hideout) in the previous part of this quest. I've tried the various bug 'fixes' i can find online such as travelling to Skellige, meditating etc. and nothing works.

As it stands, this game is dead to me, and I will be buying another to replace it in my collection - which is a pity as I have enjoyed it up to this point.

Finally out of frustration, I started a new game on 1.07 (see my 2nd post on this thread). I avoided going to Skellige at all cost.
I did some of the Baron stuff until i could go Norvigrad, see Tris then started Get Junior quest. Pop to the Hideout, cutscene activated with Roche and then completed it w/o problems. FYI for those who are curious...

Didn't want to wait for next patch... just wanted to play. Lost about 50hours on previous save...sad but yet happy that I can go on playing!

Same here. There is no cutscene when I reach the cave entrance and I can't talk to Roche. Also, I can't talk to the halfling on the "Hey, you wanna look at my stuff" either.

I finished my first playthrough from day one patch to 1.06 without any game breaking bug like this. I started my second playthrough on 1.06 and it was flawless, until patch 1.07 was realeased and I reached these quests. Now I can't advance on my game. Not to mention the bug which you can't earn achievements anymore.

Well, knowing how much time CDPR takes to acknowledge bugs and fix them, it's time to put this game aside and go play something else.

Should I just go to Skillege? If i did when will I have to get back to this eventually?
