get mods to work

so i just downloaded the texturen mod AND real rain mod put them in the override like it said....NOW WHAT there not appearing to work what so ever. is there anything special i should do like modify my shortcut or what???PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE AHHHBecause nothing ive read suggests anything else i'll i've seen is "install it in Override file" Now normally with most mods in most games you simply dont create a /data/override then past everything in there and call it a day theres normally another step and google/bing/yahoo have failed me.All i did was create a new folder called override then installed the mods in there like it says in the readme....and yet nothing./LE:day 2 :( can someone please help i've posted all over the place with no responces :(/LE:So hey thar forum dwellers im new.Now i know with most games mods theres something more to it than creating a new folder titles override then pasting your mods in them......YOU SEE I DID THIS with real rain mod and texturen mod and neither of them WORK (just the same ol vanilla game)So what else do i do THERES no guide to mod usage for this game AND the readme's simply state Install into override folder if not already created create an override folder.ALSO can i get a list of the best mods out there ove a PM or just post them here but i wouldnt want this post to get off topic[MOD]Use the MODIFY button[/MOD]

did you take picture before installing the mod so you can compare? BTW the Texture mod has only sharpened textures so the differences are not that big anywaymod list: http://www.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=26356.0

In other words: your mod worked but you didn't notice a difference because the difference isn't that great....Or... just a suggestion, since I haven't tried the mods: perhaps your computer doesn't have the specs required for the mods to actually make a noticeable difference?Try plugging in other mods, as an experiment, that you're certain will make a difference that you can see very clearly and obviously.Data/override works fine for me. Even Data/Override works.
