In the delay announcement they said that "That the game is complete" so i'd think we'd be able to rest assured that it'll release 8/17
It was complete and playable last year too. Then they delayed it from spring to september. I mean that announcement directly states it in the same sentence. "Complete and playable - but work to be done".
Reminds me btw, that announcement says "expect regular updates on progress". I dont offhand remember hearing a single dev update related to progress that actually stated something new. I only remember radio silence since the announcement. Could we have one?

It was playable. It was not complete. You could go from A to Z in the plot, but the game was not complete.
I have to admit half of me is excited but the other can`t stand to be let down by something not as cool as my imagination has told me i will see .
You are right, and I am now considering buying an XSX while I have already preordered 2077 on PS4 Pro.
