Getting really annoyed AGAIN,

1) Im not a programer, I dont want to be a programmer, I want to hit install and have my product install

So needless to say Im getting VERY annoyed trying to install the EE because it keeps corrupting (I tried loading game up and hoping it installs automatically but for some strange reason my game now says it offline despite me doing nothing to any settings at all from last week when it loaded up online)

So I read your support (complete with a BAD "here" link that leads to a 404 error page) and it says to download numbers 0,1,2,8,25,27

Ok thats already more then nonsense then I care for to be honest and dont feel should have to, but I stay quiet and do so

I click on #0 (after finding it through dirrent pages links)
follow directions to a T
and get a error message that it cant be loaded to were your directing it to load

*sighs*

So I have no idea what you want, where you want to put it, my game splash page wont even load up now (just times out not responding with no options at all)

Obviously going to the link and copy and pasting will not work for the individual files, yet clicking on the link and following the directions also doesnt work.

So what exactly am I suppose to do to update my game and enjoy it?

Again, im not a programer, I dont like going into files and removing and all that because I dont know that stuff and have no interest in it. I just wanna play the game I purchased is all.

Sorry I dont understand why in this day and age it cant be a simple pop up, hit install, done. Works for all the other games I purchase. I havent had to do this sorta stuff for a game since the early mid to late 80s. And I hated it just as much back then.

Hm, do you have a retail copy? Then you might redeem your GOG-backup copy and download the game inclusive EE-Patch from there and make a clean reinstall...

Just redownload the GoG version again, cause it will be the fully patched game already. Trust me, it will save you a lot of head aches.

So delete the current install, redownload from GoG, and install. Enjoy the game.

If you don't have to worry about download caps, then it probably would be easiest to uninstall the game completely and then download it again from GOG. The GOG version got updated so that it's already fully patched, so once the 15 GB download finishes you just install it and away you go :)
