oi, give the dev some slack will you? They make great games putting huge effort in the 360 version to make it not a quick pc port, that's more than most developers care to do and we all know that playing on pc will give you better definition and image quality providing you can run it.
Now they aren't going to come out and say yeah bro the 360 version looks terrible. They didn't say how they make comparison, for all we know a proper comparison would be running pc on the 360 'settings' (i.e. 720p with most setting turned off) hence those screenshots. Think about it if they managed to look similar with equal settings and resolution that's some terrific feast coming from a 6 years old machine. With equal settings they could look very similar, but the pc will run 60fps+ while 360 is 30 fps capped. When you run it yourself on pc you can turn all the blings on and enjoy awesome graphic. Let them have some marketing done, it's only good for us!
In many ways wc2 360 version is a landmark product, if it sells well and get good review, it only means more revenue for them and hence more resources to make us better future games. We all know through their good faith (no drm, release game earlier than release date, free huge update, dlcs the list goes on), that they (hopefully) won't treat us like ea or activision in the future.
This is not about 360 vs pc, we already know that both version runs well. Most of the differences are aesthetic preference in lighting. Again i reiterate my point - turn bloom off if you don't like the lighting. It takes some good framerate away and it (personally) just doesn't look good. Turn it off and the characters look way more
realistic.
