Gig - Cuckoo's Nest (QUEST BUGGED)

Hi guys,

Im having an issue with the Gig Cuckoo's nest

I get to a certain point where I have to extract the mark from her cell and in order to do so I have to get the guards keys, but he was inside the cell and I have found no other way to open the cell so I put off the quest till later to see if it fixed itself. Unfortunately it got worse, the guard is now 275m under the map.

If anyone has experience with this mission and im doing something wrong let me know.

Same here. My frame rate drops suddenly and once I beheaded the guard and he kept getting up fighting me headless... Series X gamer here.

On PC and i'm at the same crossroads

I ran into it last week and have since put on significant hours. If the the fix is to reload a prior save after all is said and done, i'm going to be pretty upset.

And yes, loading a prior save game is among the possible solutions (verify/repair is another option). It's always risky to continue playing when a game starts bugging out.

If you are on PC you can send them your save game (which can take some time...).

Clearing console cache is one of few things you can try. But before plugging the power back you might have to wait a bit longer than 2 minutes (in different bug situations a few people have claimed they had to wait around 5 minutes...).

Does verify game integridy cache on Steam will do anything? I got the same problem with the specific quest and i did not noticed i am way ahead to give them an early save have been playing around 50 hours now

Had this issue on PC, I found a noclip hack to enter the cell without the guard keys

1. Go to github.com/hoiblij/cyberpunknoclip, click "code", "download ZIP"
2. Unzip the folder and go to "/bin/x64/Debug/", open "Cyberpunk trainer.exe" while running the game
3. Press U, you can now walk through walls
4. Once you've talked to the lady, the door somehow opens anyway, you can escort her out and finish the quest

This fixed the issue for me, obviously run `.exe`s at your own risk. You can review the source code and compile it yourself if you know C#

It is the only quest I don't have finished, hopefully they fix it but might end up doing that to just finish the job.

Yeah dont wanna mess with game files i have seen varius fixes like this. Managed to do the first talk to her outside the window with a big truck trying to glitch the game to complete it. Its the only gig left for me i think

Unbelievable i managed to bugged it out the same way you did i went up there with the bike rofl

Update on the quest. Go with the bike up the staircase next to the door autosave. I managed to duplicate the bug multiple times cause you need to talk to the girl inside fast and skip dialogues so the door dont not close behind you. I personally left my bike next to the door destroyed it and kept spaming buttong to open the door while i was on the bike. Care not to get locked inside else gg you stuck there forever
