Never did get into WoW, myself. It looks really cool and all, I've just never allowed myself to pay a monthly fee for a game. I say that. I used to spend ungodly amounts of money on buying the latest dlcs for CoD and BF... It might have been cheaper in the long run to just play WoW.

Oh I should really not think about how much money I spent on subscriptions. On the other hand, I never really buy the games I play if I don't have to, unless I find it worth it (whoops), so I suppose I saved a lot of money on that. I also met some people in WoW that are important to me now, so I can't really say I regret it either! Don't have too much time to play it anymore though, or any other game for that matter, so many other things to do! *sigh*

I know the feeling. Regretfully. I only get to binge game like the good ole days on weekends. And I work 6 days a week, so there's about one day a week I actually get to sit and play for as long as I like.

The whole subscription aspect of isn't all that bad once you're used to it. I do sort of feel that the price could be lower and they would still be making a lot of money, like say 10 dollars or even 7.

World of Warcraft was such a glorious game back during it's golden era of Vanilla/BC. Still remains the best MMO on the market at the moment, but that speaks volumes about the incompetence of virtually every developer out there rather then WoW itself. It's still quite fun to play even now though.

Well $10 times seven million players on average per month would still be a metric ass ton, granted their costs have to be ungodly.

Personally I'd rather pay a subscription than play a free to play minus GW1+2 when it comes to a mmo.

It's funny, since most new MMOs seem to have tried to copy the best working elements of WoW, while trying to add something of their own. Yet they never seem to reach the same success, have to go F2P, etc. Apparently people still find WoW worth the costs. I’m still hoping for a new game that can pique my interest, though :p

I've tried GW2 as well, but even that one didn't keep me hooked. The biggest problem I've had with most MMOs is that they lacked something to keep me playing after reaching max level (and in my opinion that's when the fun should start). Usually I really enjoy leveling, but I end up getting bored with end-game. Shame!

The world might just be getting bored of MMOs in general, though.

Usually I'm the same on level progression. I love the feel of working my way up only to feel crushed once I'm capped.

@Brielle WoW was just really...magic I guess is the word. Those feelings of wonder and amazement as you explored the world.

Other MMOs just have fallen flat on their face in being able to do that again. Honestly I think Star Citizen is probably going to achieve it. It just looks amazing, jaw drooping and wondrous.

Now, it's not an MMO... But I wonder how much you might enjoy Diablo 3... With the rifts and greater rifts and adventure mode and paragon levels it's pretty fun even beyond story mode and the max level cap of 60, or 70 with expansion (RoS). Now that I think of it, adventure mode is also a part of the expansion... I can't remember but I think rifts and greater rifts come with the game. Pretty sure.

That said my internet is in and out tonight... So I may disappear and go play Diablo 2. Downfall to D3 being you must have internet to play.

Staying up all night and for days, pounding down mountain dew(no bro gaming) and/or vodka, and chain smoking. Those were the days.

Raiding 6 days a week for 4 hours straight to kill Kael'Thas and Vashj and then entering Black Temple while I was waking up at 7 AM to go to high school?

Madness, I still loved it though.

I don't miss it though. Granted I exchanged that for partying during high school, don't miss those days either.

I plan on getting Star Citizen but I still don't think it will engage me completely like WoW did. Something about the time of irresponsibility, youth, and not having a job.

I did play Diablo 3 (no RoS though) up to some paragon levels over max, and it was quite fun especially when playing co-op, but I ended up getting tired of the repetitiveness. Never played D1 or D2 though. And the rifts are RoS yeah, they're a bit like dungeons right?. Like I said I don't own RoS, though perhaps I'd like it. Just never gotten around to buying it.

Probably an age thing, yeah :p If I raid, I'd like to stick to 2 normal length nights now, though I never raided 6 days a week in the first place (also I didn't join until WotLK or so, quite late compared to Vanilla/BC players). Atm lacking a raiding guild though and just awaiting the expansion first :p

Star Citizen, heard about it never really looked into it. Checked out the website a bit again, does look interesting. A bit confused though. Is it supposed to be free to play?

Star Citizen isn't necessarily free to play though there will not be a monthly subscription fee. You buy the game and the multiplayer is included at no extra charge.

No. It's like Guild Wars 2. You buy it once and you can play for however long you want.

There will be some micro transactions probably, later down the line. To me Star Citizen is a lot of what Mass Effect should have been but wasn't.

*Wall Incoming*

Oh yeah, it got very repetitive until right around the time they released RoS... Adventure mode gives you 5 random quests or 'bounties' to complete. After all 5 quests you speak with Tyrael and he gives you a box filled with even more loot.

Nephalem Rifts are like randomized dungeons. They're meant to be run pretty fast, more elite mobs, no side quests available, just a boss you're looking to find and kill. After a rift is complete you'd talk to Orek, and like Tyrael he gives you extra loot.

Greater Rifts are made to fit your character level in terms of difficulty. You obtain Greater Rift keys with a level on it fitting your character, or character group, by using a keystone of trials (which is attainable through killing NR bosses). Greater Rifts are timed. You need to find the boss and kill them within 15 minutes. At the end, you get a key with a greater number depending on how fast you get through, and of course better loot/experience. The loot and gold only drop at the end of a Grift.

Anyway, it's much more entertaining. If you decide to get it, I'd love someone to Rift with. If not, I understand, it's kind of expensive for things I wish they'd have put in the game to begin with.

Really well-struck blows against sexism are so rare that they deserve repeating.

A passenger was disappointed in Argentine Airlines, enough to complain on their Facebook page. Now the usual complaints against Aerolineas involve the inability of the ground staff to handle their often-delayed Miami-Buenos Aires flights, but this bloke complained that they had replaced their tall, slender flight attendants with short, fat ones.

"...antiguamente eran altas, esbeltas, imponian respeto, ahora toman todas chicas bajas y gorditas, y deja mucho que desear..."

The airline's reply displayed an eloquence rarely seen on the Internet,

"Los prejuicios no salen a volar y los dejamos en tierra."

"Prejudice doesn't fly, and we leave it on the ground."
