Give us more control on Hairworks quality

It's something i find to be missing or at the very least, falsely oriented at 980/titans.
Putting together loose pieces of information found on the internet, it seems that Hairworks setup lacks a bit of customization abilities.
Lowering/Disabling hair MSAA alone, makes it almost playable on my 970. Still, the hair is tessellated with incredible factor that's most likely an overkill.
Example comparison image is shown at the bottom of this article: http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/the-witcher-3-hairworks-on-amd-gpus-with-normal-performance.html

I am not certain whether with Gameworks/hairworks being closed-source even to the game developers it is possible to tweak hair tessellation factor, but if it's doable. Please CDProjekt, give us an option to decrease it.

Cheers.

That's Nvidia tactics for you. Is there no way to change tessellation values on Nvidia cards like on AMD?
I'm able to run Hairworks pretty smoothly at 8x tessellation (default is a whopping 64x). That is, of course, when I'm not crashing to desktop during combat.

I think nvidia inspector might be able to adjust values like that but I don't know it would make much difference performance wise on Nvidia cards. Things like this is why single card setups are never enough for me and I have to have SLI. I do not want to turn things off to get a playable game.

Nope NVIDIA doesn't give end user any control over tessellation.

I have a solution that i found for people that want to lower or even raise the quality of HairWorks, and many more.
http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/12/? This a very nice tool read the description really easy to use and install, go to the rendering tab and scroll down you will see HairWorks there.
Edit: I just wanted to point this is not made by me TheMelekTaus is the author.

This tool only can affect MSAA applied to hair, it does change a lot but it's not everything that could be (possibly) done.
