Sometimes, game glitches works better than DRM in detecting\avoiding piracy. In W1, the missing Reverend struck many times. In Batman AA you can't advance in the Scarecrow's dream because of a glitch.
Um if they gave us DLC to pay then wouldn't that just make them another company by that standard thus removing your statement for wanting to give them more money?
