GOG Beta Microtransations and Steam

I have a question about post-beta microtransactions.

I read that after beta ends, any kegs I buy now will be awarded to be re-opened, which is fine. However, when the game fully releases I intend to play it on Steam, since all my friends are on there and not GoG.

Is it possible to sync my GoG account with Steam somehow? Or have the Kegs moved to Steam?

With a game like this, it's very likely that you'll need to connect using your GoG account even on Steam. So that should not be a problem.
