GOG or Retail ? which one is Uncensored in the U.S ?

Hi,I've been waiting for CD-RED to confirm whether the Retail version of The Witcher 2 and the GOG version (U.S) are going to be different wen it comes to censorship ? I want to pre-order the game, but I (And many others) want to know the difference between the Retail & GOG version of the game in the U.S before we pre-order.Thanks

From what I know it still is not certain whether the U.S. version will be censured. Seems like you will have to wait a little longer (I think that someone asked this recently in the ask dev thread). As for the GOG version there is some special content (Artbook in .pdf which is normally available only in collectors edition + some OST are available before release + classic RPG of your choice). As for the censorship I think that at GOG it will be uncensored, however I wasn't able to find any confirmation on this. May post an update if I find something.

That's very tasteful compared to the frontal male nudity that GTA4 has. I don't see the need to censor that.

agreed. people will complain for awhile, then they will forget about it.that looks like mature territory to me. besides, it's much more tasteful than anything gta4 has done, so they can make an argument for artistic value.

I'm not at home right now, so I can't access my saved emails to give you the exact text of this. A couple of months ago, I submitted a query to GOG asking if their version was going to be censored. About a week back, I got a reply from them with confirmation that their version wasn't going to be censored. The email apologized for the delay, but explained that the answer was unknown until just recently.
