GOG, PS4 and XBoxLive

Hi,
I am playing on PC using GOG Galaxy. I made one match against a random player, he was an Xbox player (XBoxLive appeared under his username). This means that we actually play against PS4 and Xbox players even when we are on the GOG platform ?
PS4 players can play against an Xbox player too ?
How can we add as a friend an Xbox/PS4 player ?

Yes you are playing against console players.

I don't think you can add them though.

I don't think PS4 players can play against Xbox players, but both can indeed play against PC players.

Friend systems are, afaik, not cross-platform.

It‘s also mentioned in the official FAQ:
„CROSS-PLAY is available between Xbox One & PC, and PlayStation 4 & PC. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 cross-play is not possible. Please note, however, that Friend Matches are only possible within a given platform, meaning that you can only challenge a friend to a Friend Match if they are playing GWENT on the same platform as you are. CROSS-BUY is not available.“
