Good God - White Gull, How to make?!

This has been driving me insane, I got this game because It's been recommended by a lot of game sites I visit so I bought it and started to play it, got part way through the prologue the game crashes - No save. But that isn't the current problem, I'm at Act 1 and I read that I have to give a homeless lady "White Gull" so I can get a ring from her to talk to this "Respected" Drunkard... The problem is I don't have any White Gull and I cannot find the damn ingredients... I learned Herbalism and picked plants that contained the ingredients but it still will not let me make White Gull. Where can I find these ingredients to make freakin' White Gull? I've looked it up online and not one place says where I can find them, all it says it's "Soooo common" but yet everything I pick/loot/kill doesn't have any of the ingredients. So please help

White Gull is easy...... find a campfire/ go into meditate mode/ select the alchemy page. If white gull is not bright highlighted, no - you don't have enough ingredients or you haven't read a required book for an ingredient entry. Put the cursor over "white gull" & it will tell you what the problem is.

Make sure you have potion base alcohol, witch can be any strong alcohol you can get. No alcohol, no White Gull.
