Gorilla arms don't bypass the body level requirement to force open doors

+
They changed gorilla arms from being the way to open doors to just being fist weapons, and having your attributes determine if you vns brute force the door.

Nope, not good enough. The description says they let you force open doors and disable turrets, so that's what they should do. The devs need to patch it so they work as advertised.

Doesn't necessarily have to let you force every door; could work as, say, a +4 modifier to your innate BODY stat and that would be fine.

Also wouldn't say the lack of functionality has anything to do with 'balancing' the game. The cyberware doesn't let you do anything that can't also be accomplished by dumping points in BODY ('cept the turret thing; but c'mon, who's going to melee-rush a turret when you can just quickhack it instead?). It's clearly a planned feature that didn't make the release deadline.

There is no particular reason to worry about "game balance" in a one player game. Nobody gets hurt if you are bit too OP. It would be totally different thing in a multiplayer

Besides, the missions should be varied enough in problemsolving that you shouldn't be able to brute force your way through most of them.
