Ubersampling might be something that is not too difficult to implement, so it would not be unrealistic to expect it to appear in the GOTY edition. On the other hand, it is also something that is only of interest to players with high end PCs, and it is already possible to achieve a similar effect with DSR or VSR. But if it is easy enough to add, then why not, except maybe to avoid complaints about bad performance at maximum settings.

Technically part of it is in the engine, it fully supports separate render resolution with upscaling to match the viewport (hello consoles) but not other way around.

Well, I play with DSR (2700*something) and it adds a lot to this game. Vegetation has so many thin details that supersampling is needed. I hope it will be officially added to the game.

I made a few posts here, but I don't remember if I wrote this: I would like to have these pre-renderd cutscenes from the main quest, updated for PC in 60fps. It feels really strange, when you play that great looking game on new GPUs like 1070/1080 with 80+ fps and then a cutscene is starting with 30 fps Framerate, while a PC could render most/all of these scenes without problems :(

Delaying standalone gwent can only mean one thing, invasion they're working on new content.

But why do you write about it here in the GOTY section for TW3? The teams at CDPR were split up:

There are people in the company sitting in a seperate room/area that only work on Gwent. So why do you think a delay of the Gwent beta, has anything to do with the GOTY edition of The Witcher 3? :eredinfacepalm:

What makes you think they aren't applying the standalone gwent to the main game?

What makes you think they aren't applying the standalone gwent to the main game?

Because that'd make no sense, backporting something you want to sell to something you practically already sold.

What? That would make 0 sense. Witcher 3 is a Standalone, finished game, so is "Gwent: A Witcher cardgame". Implementing one into another wouldn't make any sense. That's like implementing Hearthstone to World of Warcraft, because the content fits...

I admire the optimism that they are actually planning to make new content for W3, especially in the last act, but sadly no, the teams are split up now.

If the team are split it doesn't mean they can't produce content anymore. If it is cut content they are finishing they don't need to be 300. If it's just polishing and implementing it's totally doable with a smaller team. Anyway I don't believe too much in this theory as well. I don't see anymore content coming (there are so much already). But in theory this still totally possible.

I started with the TW2 Enhanced Edition, so anyone could tell me what content was added there in comparison to the TW2 vanilla edition?

Believe me, I would sell my soul for more content for the last act of the main story, but I doubt it will actually happen at this point.

i find internal upscaling like Ubersampling looking better than DSR, a good example is The division, 4k DSR look very blurry because of the DSR filter, and the 4k internal upscale look so much more crisp, its crazy, it also perform slightly better ( of course that engine dependent ), also it has practically no additional lag input, wich DSR add quiet alot

DSR look fine, but internal resolution is way crisper for me, and we know some form of it is already in the game, so yeah, hoping .... even if the GOTY trailer didnt show anything, they might add this kind of features for PC stealthly, but thats assuming there will be a new patch for that
