Reading couple of threads i found that actually in my case crashes are probably caused by GPU not entering perfomance mode.
I am not sure if i am correct but i observed that when i am able to play for a long time with no issues - on game startup i clearly hear fans speeding up - every time i do not hear that i will get below error:
Error reason: Assert
Expression: <Unknown>
Message: Gpu Crash for unknown reasons! Callstack here is probably irrelevant. Check if Breadcrumbs or Aftermath logged anything useful.
File: e:\r6.patch0hotfix2\dev\src\common\gpuapi\src\dx12\gpuapidx12error.cpp(40)
I tried:
- set game to always use performance mode
- set nvidia processor for game
- change power management settings to prefer max performance
No joy.
Any idea what other settings may influence performance mode?
I have latest nvidia drivers + W10 2H20.
