Weapon availability works differently online, versus single player.

The RPG becomes available after Level 100. Yep, not a typo.

However, it's possible to shoot down choppers with other weapons, particularly if you can shoot the pilot. Also, if you have someone high enough level in your game with you, they can drop any weapon and ammo in their inventory for you to use. I'm not sure if you get to keep the weapon if you snuff it / hop games, though.

What Redge says is truth, however you can also get an RPG from a deathmatch or survival, even if you don't clear the deathmatch, as long as you clear the wave you get the weapon in you can keep it. Unfortunately, if you get it this way, or if someone drops one for you, you lose it if you log out of online, but I believe you can take it to a different lobby.

And damn... it would be good to get you in the crew, if you ever actually played I would send you an invite...

It's a good start... it's what I had when I came back after my 2-month absence, it's been less than a week and I have just under a million...

Still mad Rockstar took away my Billion... I earned that bounty fair and square.

It's enough to be comfortable. You should have your pick of fancy digs; you should easily be able to afford a safehouse with a ten car garage. If you purchase wisely, you'll even have enough left-over scratch to purchase something reasonably shiny to put in it.

Hey, I got you in on it as soon as possible....

200 grand an hour plus ridiculous amounts of rp... thats some win sauce baby.... Before you joined I took that kid Jamwhatsis from level 40 to 47 in like two and a half hours...

I now have just under 10 and a half million, would have been 11 and a half but I spent 950,000 on a plane... now I own all the boats, air craft, military vehciles and whatever else Rockstar delivers, plus all the clothing items...

Oddly enough, I only keep the guns on me I actually use.... except the damn regular pistol, which always re-appears in my inventory...

They just put this vehicle into the game.

(Well... more like this one, but still! It's a 6x6.)

Since the game has dropped, they've released enough gear and vehicles that would amount to an expansion pack or DLC bundle from other developers (that they'd then charge you for. Looking at you, Volition.)

I still find microtransactions gauche, but I have to admit: this *is* a clever way to incentivize players to purchasing those in-game cash bundles.

GTA IV has one thing that GTAV hasn't: an I.

V uses the same engine as IV, but Rockstar has since been able to get more out of said engine.

Gameplay-wise, there are now three protagonists, instead of just one. As you play through the game, you gain access to each one.

Additionally, there's a new Online component, separate from the single-player experience, where you can create a character for online play.

Outside of that, it's more of what you love and expect from a GTA franchise. If you're a fan of the series, you'll like this one.
