You haven't tracked many games before release than have you? Did you see how much the Witcher 2 improved before the final version? Ever track god of War 3 before its release at just how staggering of an improvement the final game was?

Got a video to prove witcher 2 was upgraded from e3 to the release?

" Wow, graphic sucks. "

Yea, you're right, it was more a knee-jerk statement made in the heat of the moment. My bad.

I keep thinking that we'll see some kind of downgrade, since it's been announced for consoles, they always say that they want to make the experience the same for all players. That's just not possible on consoles. So, I wonder if there will be any sacrifice in order to delivery this promise. I really hope not.

Lets think about this logically...
If CDPR actually wanted to deceive you, do you think they would be providing footage, 35minutes of footage, 6 months before the game is out? If you think this is malicious then you need to cancel your preorder... and hurry becase you only have ~180 days left!

Ubisoft did the same with Watch Dogs.

Yes they have said this in a few interviews and the ps4/xboxone cannot do what the PC is capable of, we will get a downgrade.

I don't think Ubisoft tried to lie to anyone either. Consider that that game was in development when the next gen console specs were still numbers on a piece of paper, it makes total sense to me that they over estimated what the machines could do. Could the PC version still have looked that good? Sure, the problem is that Ubisoft has to force these games out on a yearly schedule. They don't even bother to proper optimize their PC games.

Economics also plays a huge role. Ubisoft is one of the richest publishers in the world, they've grown big enough that they don't care what you think of them because their marketing muscle will always win. CDPR is a much smaller company that will live or die by its reputation.

Sorry to bring this up if it has already been stated.

The 35 minute gameplay video released on IGN today . . . was it stated to be on console or PC? And do you think the framerate stuttering attributable to YouTube issues, or could that be a realistic problem in the long run (frame-rate)?

I liked everything about the demo to be honest, but I'm just worried about the frame-rate, because I could have sworn it dipped below 30 fps at times.

Apologies again.

You should watch this interview, it may put your fears to rest.

I guess you've missed the part where they say that they will deliver the best possible visuals for each platform and they won't cripple one because of another.

The game is still half a year from being completed, folks! I don't see the whole point in these graphics discussion at all. We know it's an old, outdated build they showed us; and furthermore we know that it's nowhere near being optimized completely.
Imagine this scenario instead: You go to a guy on the internet and order a cake, because he has some very delicious looking pictures of cakes on his webpage. First everything is fine, but then he sends you a status update on the cake, and the pictures you get from him don't look anything like the ones on his webpage - of course, one could say; despite the fact that all the ingredients are already mixed in, the cake was still unbaked when the photos were taken. So, what would you do? Would you go full suspicion mode or would you wait until you get your hands on the finished cake before you complain about it?

Which is why I'm here on the forums talking about the game. But we've been burned so many times that it would be incredibly naive to not be cautious.

Apart from the Watch Dogs fiasco, I don't recall other glaring examples. Can you state what other games had such issues?
